Aloha Gang.....First off, I hope you all are in good healths and spirits today.......Today, I am going to go Deep Sea Fishing again early in the morning, so I am posting my First Set of plays now......Yesterday, I did end up in a small profit zone, nothing really to talk about, but a positive day nonetheless.....Today, I have another
BIG GAME PLAY that should bring home the Big Bacon for us......I hit my last
BIG GAME PLAY--"TOTALS GAME OF THE MONTH" on the UNDER in the KC/Mets matchup this past Sunday, and I am feeling pretty confident about this one today as well..... My Big Game Plays are my Best plays I cap out, and they have proven to be SOLID in ALL Major Sports(FB, BB, MLB) combined.....I am looking for todays selection to follow suit like the rest did.....Enough talk already, I am siked up today to do some damage to the Man.....LETS ROCK-N-ROLL GANG!
**BIG 4 UNIT UNDERDOG GAME OF THE WEEK PLAY ON:
Mets +115
-Clev has never won three straight when CC has taken the hill for them in his 3rd consecutive start.....and looking back at this years performances by him, it seems that he is not able to put back to back solid outtings together, especially after he pitches a shutout win....For instance, after he shutout Minny, he got blasted by KC.....After a shutout win over TB, he was rocked pretty good in his next 3 starts.....Now after his shutout win over the Angels, he gives up 7 hits, 5 runs, and 4 walks, in ONLY 5 innings on the hill vs Cincy.....CC has been solid at times, but he has been more inconsistant....In fact his inconsistancy can be seen especially on the road where his starts led to Clev going 1-4....This year, CC is also 0-2 as a Road Fav and has an ERA of 4.20 ..Also, except for his last road start as a Dog vs the Angels, CC has struggled with control and has given up an average of 4 walks in his 4 road games he started, which all ended in a loss for the Indians.....Not to Good!....
The Mets send their young but very solid pitcher to the hill, in Matt Ginter.....Matt, while in college at Miss St, was rated as having the Best Slider in College Baseball.....He also played on the US Olympic team in 1998, and was the WS #1 draft choice and 22nd pick overall, so he brings a lot of solid credentials to the Mets organization.....This year, although he has only posted a 1-0 record, he has pitched very solidly for the Mets....In his 6 starts, he posted two shutouts (vs Philly twice), two games giving up only 2 runs (vs Florida & Houston), one game giving up 1 run (vs Minny), and just one game where he gave up 5 runs (Colorado)....This game btw is the game he also posted his only win of the season....Now that is some solid Offensive hitting teams that Minter has kept in check......Minter is also averaging giving up ONLY 1 walk a game and has ONLY given up just 1 HR so far on the year.....So far so good!
Other stats and things:
-CC Sabathia is 3-3 overall this year with a 3.25 ERA...
-He is 0-2 as a Road Fav....with an 4.20 ERA...
-Clev is 1-4 in his last 5 road starts...
-Clev is a very poor road team posting a 9-17 road record...
-Ginter has a WHIP of .84 in his last 3 games..
-Ginter in his last 3 games has an ERA of 1.62..
-Mets BP is better overall than Clevelands...
Cleveland statistically has the better Offense at the plate then does the Mets....but I feel that due to CC and the Indians current road woes, and the fact that they will be facing a rather unknown solid pitcher in Ginter, plus the Mets being at home and looking to get their record back to or above .500 by the Allstar Break, they may be able to get another solid win like they did last night....They are struggling at the plate and are the 2nd worst hitting team in the Majors, but they fired their batting coach the other day and then recorded 14 hits last night....Now some say it wasnt due to this new batting coach and he even said it wasnt, but some are saying that they were just due to get out of the hitting slump that they were in.....This I agree is what is happening, but the release of the Batting coach, I feel is also playing a small part.....The Indians were hot for awhile, but I feel that they are entering a slump of sorts...cant say for certain, but just something that I am feeling....Plus, this Mets lineup is better than most are giving them credit for, statistics or not.......I feel CC and the Indians struggles on the road will play right into my hands in this one and I like my odds with the Home Dog Mets....Take the Mets ML as a
BIG GAME PLAY--"UNDERDOG GAME OF THE WEEK SELECTION"
-Ok Gang, I will be back to post the rest of my early card shortly.....Stay tuned for more, if interested....CC.
