Aloha Gang....Still on a cold streak, but hoping to change it soon...Yesterday went 1W-2L= -2.36 Units.....Lets make some noise today!....Gotta change things around, and look for some winning combination....

-Col 3-7 in Fassero's last 10.
-Col 4-14 in last 18 overall.
-Yanks 8-3 in last 11 home games.
-Yanks 11-2 in their last 13 overall.
-Fassero 0-5 with 6.47 ERA...In his last 3 games(two in relief and 1 start), he is 0-2 with a 10.28 ERA...
-Vazques 3-0 in his last 3 starts and has a 3.75 ERA overall.
-Yanks hitting .292 vs LHPs in their last 10 games....Col hitting RHPs .250 in their last 10 games.
-Col BP last 3 games 9.17 ERA....Yanks BP last 3 games 2.73 ERA.
Bascically this one has Yankee slaughter written all over it with Fassero on the hill for Colorado....He has been primarily in the relief roll this year, but has made two starts....In his two starts, he gave up 13 hits, 11 runs, and 5 walks, in ONLY 7.2 innings....
In Fassero's last 3 games(2 in relief and 1 start), he gave up 10 runs, 15 hits, 4 walks, and 2 HRs in a little over 8 innings...Not Good....Today, the Yanks will get back Giambi to the lineup and that should make matters worst, if that is possible with this Allstar Lineup of the Evil Empire....
I feel that Fassero is dead meat vs this Allstar Lineup....Also the Rockies problems in the BP should only make matters worst....The Yanks, on the other hand, with Vazques on the hill and pitching probably the best of any of the starters, backed up by all the Yankees Sticks and a solid BP, I feel very confident in laying the RL in this one....Oh yeah, the Yanks also are rested as they had a day off, whereas the Rocks played yesterday and now must travel....
Boston/SD OVER 8 -109
-This is another game I had to take when I saw it...
-The OVER is 10-2 in the Sox's last 12 overall.
-The Sox last 7 home games have gone OVER the total.
Well's today is coming off of the DL and I feel the Sox's sticks at home should get to him...Pedro usually gets a lot of run support when he is on the hill, and that is a good thing as he has been giving up a lot of them himself of late...Pedro is not as dominant as in the past and in his last 3 games has an 6.50 ERA...Today I see the Padres getting a few runs in off of him, but not enough to win outright....
Both SD and Boston ranked in the Top 13 in the League in hitting % and Top 10 in the League in OBP...Boston also ranks 2nd in the League in runs scored....Todays matchup should see enough runs cross the plate to cover this number, as these two aging, once dominant, pitchers take the hills...Nomar for the Sox should make his return to the lineup today and that should help as well with Offensive production...
