Aloha Gang........Well, what a day yesterday ended up being!.....A day following possibly my worst outing this season in MLB......I come right back with my Biggest Day so far for the season, falling just one game short of a complete SWEEP.......Now that is how I like to get REVENGE!.......Anyways, yesterday's damage done to the Man, ended with me posting a 8W-1L= +17.15 Units. My TOP 3 Unit Plays on the day also spanked ASS going 3W-1L= +6.81 Units. This brought my combined record for the week back into the Profit Zone and it now stands at 14W-10L= +7.56 Units., heading into Thirsty Thursdays.......
Today I am going to again be running mulitple sets of plays, as it is proving to be very profitable for me doing this.....The 3 Sets of Plays will be covering the Morning, Afternoon, and Night games.....I got the Morning Set Capped out already.....So Lets Get Thursday's Party Started Early!....Rock-N-Roll Baby!
MORNING SET:
**TOP 3 UNIT PLAY ON:
Atlanta Braves -116
-Yes I know them bastards are the ones that cost me the Perfect Day yesterday, but I didn't expect Wells, who has been struggling a bit, to pitch so well(no pun intended).....Still, Atlanta did have its opportunities, but fell short...Today, I gotta go back with the Braves as I feel their Offense will have a better day finding a lot of success against SD's Lawrence....Hampton for the Braves is still looking for his first win on the season and today he should be able to get it at home and against this team, who in his last 5 starts against them has lead to a 4-1 record.....
Hampton this year has struggled primarily on the road where his 3 starts all lead to 3 Braves defeats, but in his two starts at home this year, the Braves went 2-0.......Lawrence, on the other hand, in his career starts vs the Braves has not found any success going 0-3 in three starts with an ERA of 7.02.....Also, his struggles of late is not a good thing when having to face a team who has your number.....Lawrence this year in 30 innings on the mound has given up 46 hits, 23 runs, 4 HR's, and 14 walks.....The Braves posted just 5 hits last night, but vs Lawrence, I see them easily doubling that amount, if not more.......
Yesterday the Padres won with Well's who has never lost at all vs the Braves, and they won.....Today the Padres go with a guy who has never won vs the Braves at all, and that will work against them this time......I see a trend extending here.....Plus, I like the past trend favoring the Braves who are 7-2 in their last 9 vs the Padres.....Slugger JD Drews for the Braves should return to the lineup today and his return will also help Hampton get his first win of the season, and also our first TOP 3 Unit Play Winner for Thursday.

Philly -138
-Wolf is coming off of 3 solid starts where in his 22 innings(1 complete game) he has an ERA of 1.23....He also in only gave up 15 hits, just 3 runs, and ONLY 4 walks, during these 3 games.....So far in his 5 starts this year, the Phillies are 4-1....Suppan for the Cards has been finding success on the road this year winning 2, while losing 3 at home. Still, in this one I have to again go back with this Philly team who have the Cards number, now winning 10 of the last 14 vs them.....Also, Philly has the better Bullpen to close out the Cards like they did last night......In fact, this BP in the last 3 games has an ERA of just 1.04, which is 5 runs less given up than St Louis's BP....Wolf will start if off strong, and the Philly BP with Wagner will end it strong.
Pitt +1.5 +100
-Pitt is one of those teams that plays better on the road then at home, and one reason for this has been the pitching of Kris Benson, who is 3-0 away from home this year....In these 3 games on the road, he went alittle over 20 innings on the hill, giving up just 12 hits, only 2 ER's, and no HR's, vs Milw, NY, and Chicago......Benson comes into todays game off one of his dominant wins vs Milw where he went 7.2 innings, giving up ONLY 5 hits, 1 ER, 7 K's, and 3 walks...
Wade Miller for Houston is 3-2 on the year, and his last win was at home over Cincy......What I found in Miller's wins this year, is that they were all against 3 teams that are ranked below the Pirates in overall hitting %, and that his loss were vs the 4th ranked hitting team in Colorado, who ranks just a notch above this Pirate team in hitting average..
In 3 of Pitt's 4 games vs Houston this year, the total runs scored differential between these two is just 1 run at 8-7, with only yesterdays game being decided by over 2 runs....But of course that game was against the Rocket so I am not going to count that one because the Rocket has dominated everyone he faced this year.....Still, Pitt's Off did get aleast 2 ER's off of him, and that is a good sign as now they will face a much less dominant hittable pitcher in Miller......I think, that if Pitt's bats can get to the Rocket, they will be able to get to Miller......Plus, with the way that Pitt's BP has been playing in their last 3 games posting an ERA of 2.08, compared to Houston's BP ERA of 6.68 they may be able to steal one here, or at least keep it very close.
Cubs -200
-Ok, I gotta go with the Cubs here and lay the heavy price as I think they will play to avoid being swept by Zona, just like they did in their last series....Clements is probably pitching the best of the Cubs Ace's right now....Overall Clements is 4-1 this year.....His only loss came in his first start of the season at Cincy, where he gave up 4 ER's on 6 hits in just 4 innings....Since then, he has been dominating every team he started against....In his last 4 starts (28 innings), he has allowed just 13 hits, ONLY 3 ER's, 31 K's, 10 walks, and just 1 HR...WOW! The Cubs bats have been struggling lately especially vs RHP's, but they should find a lot of success today vs possibly Arizona's most generous pitchers in Dessen, who has allowed 37 hits, 23 runs, 5 HR's, in 24.2 innings on the hill.....

CC...nice run yesterday....cleaned up very big with texas.....kicked myself for not taking houston....but a great winning day none the less....luv the phillies and braves play....with you on both.....would luv to see atlanta crush the padres.....SD always seems to screw me but hopefully not today with you behind me.....thanks CC
