TOP PLAYS OF THE DAY FOR SWEEP EM SUNDAY, 3-14! Teaser POM goes down as Duke loses outright.

Aloha Gang. Well, yesterday we continued this very profitable run we are on posting a 12W-4L= +34 Unit Day.(75%) In fact, the past three days have just been one monumental ride for us where we have gone a combined 40W-15L-2P= +116 Units.(72%) A Big reason for this success, is the Awesome record of the Top 6 & 7 Unit Plays during this time, where they went 14W-4L-1P= +61 Units.(77%) Overall for the entire week with all these winners combined, our record is 56W-33L-2P- +108 Units.(63%) We have just today left in the week, and my goal today is to close it out with a very solid day. In fact, today I look for a complete sweep, as it is SWEEP EM SUNDAY! Lets Rock-N-Roll Baby!


MINI FIRST SET:

-Simple. Do I see this Hot Kentucky team getting upset or not winning this game by only 2pts. NOPE. Next, do I see this Duke squad being a tight nailbiter until the end just winning by 2 baskets. NO WAY IN HELL! In this time of year, and in this type of situation. I simply have to see alot of value with playing a teaser, where I am able to adjust this line which are tight and have been placed more so for the books to take advantage of the public. I dont want to get caught in their game, and I see a big advantage for me to utilize the pts they are allowing me to use. A Win and a Push is a Win , which I definately enjoy. Also laying just -120 seems like a very reasonable amount. This may be the best situation where I have used a teaser play in hoops.

MINI SECOND SET:

Illinois E


-Ill last lost on 1-24 at Wisc by 20pts, since then, they have reeled off 12 straight wins. Ill is 11-4 SU on the road this year. Everyone is talking about how good this Wisky team plays defense, but what they fail to realize is Ill as well plays very solid defense. It is just that their high potent Offense lead by their solid guard play overshadows this defensive play. But the fact is, is that Ill is holding its opponents on the road to a lower FG% than Wisky is. Also a fact is that Ill is 3rd in the Conf in Scoring Def, 3rd in FG% Def, and right behind Wisc in 3pt FG% Def.

Ok now that we got that settled, here is where the real advantage is with Ill today. Ill is #1 in the Conf in Scoring Off, Wisky is #5. Ill is #2 in FG% , Wisky is #5. Ill is #4 in 3pt FG%, Wisky #9. Ill is #2 in Reb Margin, Wisky is #4. Ill is #3 in 3pt shots made per a game w/ 7, to Wisky #5 w/ 5.7. In the list of r the Big Ten's Top 30 Scorers, Wisc only has 2 players listed. Ill, on the other hand, list 4 players. Ill is also #1 in the Conf in Assist per game, Wisky #7. This stat in Assist, is a very overlooked statistic, but teams with high assist numbers, is a clear indication of a team with even distribution and multiple scorers. Wisky is low in Assist, because they are a team who primarily relies on the Big Ten's Player of the Year G Devin Harris to do it all.

Yesterday, I backed Mich St, because of their solid Offensive play, and they almost was able to pull out a victory over Wisc. But the end result of Mich St's lost was due to them being a team who is average to poor on the defensive end. This kind of poor defensive play, allows a team like Wisc to stick around and eventually overcome you. Well, this wont happen again today vs this Ill squad who is solid and balanced on both ends of the court. This balance play of defense and a potent offense is why they are the Big Ten Champions this year. Today, Ill's ability to play solid defense, will lead to their Offensive play to overwhelm this Wisc squad who cannot match up with the multiple scoring threats of Ill. The Wisky defense will be busy all day today trying to contain Ill triple threats in Brown, Williams, and Head. These guys are all downtown threats, which is to many compared to Wisky's only real threat deep in Harris. I think Ill, shows the Nation how good and balanced they are and puts out a loud warning to all that they better watch out. Ill gets out of the shadows of Mich St and this Wisconsin squad today. Ill rolls.



**4 Unit Play on:


Texas +2


-Ok, besides the fact that yes it is hard to beat a quality team three times in one year, it is even more so harder when this team is a nationally ranked team who has a decided advantage over you down low, and is a road veteran team as well. Texas should be able to control the paint today against Ok St, and that will lead to more open shots for their potent Guards to match the play of Ok St's solid guard play, especially in G Lucus. Texas is a much more physical team then Ok St is and as their big guys over powered Kansas yesterday, I see them being able to dothe same as well to Ok ST today. Ok St is an average rebounding team on the road grabbing only 32 rpg, whereas Texas grabs an average of over 40 rpg on the road. In Texas, two losses to Ok ST, it was lost not from the field, but from the line, where in Texas's two losses one by 5pts they were 10-20 from the FT line. Then in their 2nd lost by 9pts , they struggled again going just 5 or 9 from the line. In Texas's game vs Kansas yesterday, they went 10-15 from the line 66%, an improvement from their average of just above 52% in their last two losses vs St. If they make their shots, Texas will win, but the extra pts will help.



Ill/Wisc OVER 123


-The two games between these two totaled scores of 122 in the first meeting, and 132 in the second one. Based on both Wisc and Ill's last five games, they have both stepped up their offensive production on the road. Wisky average scoring in this span 70 ppg, and Ill increased its scoring average in their last 5 games to 71 ppg. This game should result in a comfortable over when its all said and done.
