Aloha Gang.......First off, I hope you ALL are in good health and spirits today.....As for me I am still flying high after posting a SWEET 8W-1L= +16.18 Units Day!!....I was due to get it done after suffering 3 days of bad beats and poor performances by these overpaid babies...lol....Also bringing home the bacon is my Late Set of Plays, which have gone 7W-2L so far on the week....
Anyway, today is a new day and yesterday is a done deal....So lets get to the present business at hand, as past records and past wins wont do you shit or guarantee you another winning day.....It only looks good, but it doesnt represent how it will look in the future....Only continuous hard work, focus, confidence, and ability will lead you to the promise land once more......So with that said, lets get down to the present task at hand.....LETS ROCK-N-ROLL BABY!
**TOP 3 UNIT PLAY ON:
Atlanta Braves -125
-What a sqeeze Ass game that was last night....Dam Braves always freakin dramatic....No wonder they are always on the tube....Ted you Genius....lol.
This is another Big heated Rivalry game so I shouldnt expect anything less today.....But, I see to much value with the Braves at home and with Jaret Wright on the hill....
The Dodgers are in a very bad slump of late.....They have lost 8 straight games with last nights shutout lost to these Braves......and I dont see this trend changing today.....The main reason for this slump is due to the lack of Offensive at the plate, and not so much on the hill.......The Dodgers in this span of 8 losses has been outscored 42-18...WOW!.......They have been just averaging in their last 10 games .217 vs RHP's and Wright is a RHP.....The Braves in their last 10 games average .243 vs RHP's.
Taking the hill today is another inconsistant pitcher in Jeff Weaver....Here is how the Dodgers faired in his starts this year...W,L,W,L,L,L,W,L....In his last 3 road games this year, he went 1-2, allowing 24 hits, 13 runs, 9 walks, and 2 HR's in ONLY a little over 15 innings...OUCHEE!
Jaret Wright has as well been struggling of late, but he is at home in this one and in his last 3 starts at home he has gone 2-1, allowing just 15 hits, ONLY 4 ER's, while striking out 15, and walking just 7.....This all done vs some of the elite teams this year.....Another thing I like about Wright is that he doesnt allow the long Bombs....In fact, he has only allowed 1 HR off of him and that was in his first start on the year, way back on April 10.....
The Braves have the better Offense at this moment over the slumping Dodgers, and they as well have a better BP to close it out for them.....This Brave BP in their last 3 games has a 2.57 ERA, in a little over 28 innings.....Again this is a another Rivalry game and I like the fact that it is in Atlanta, because the Braves are 6-2 in the last 8 meeting vs LA.....Go Braves!...

-Ok, now that the Cards got one yesterday vs their division rivals the Cubs at Wrigley.....Today the focus, pressure, and motivation sides with Chicago and I love it when a home team w/ talent and all these emotions on their side is installed as a Dog.....Oh my, can you say perfect setup....Ok you can, but lets Not!.....lol.
Yesterday's analysis siding with the Cards was mainly because the weak link vs them was going to be Rookie Mitre and his inability and inconsistancy to keep hits allowed down at home....and he made me look like a genius with yesterdays performance when he gave up 7 runs and 10 hits, all in 5 innings......I just love it when I peg it so perfectly....Now for today, I am siding with the Cubs because the Cards send a not so dominant Woody Williams to the hill.....

-Gotta go with the Fishes from Florida as they send their most consistant starter to the hill today....Penny has won his last 4 of 5 games, and now has an ERA of 2.17, with 46 K's to just 15 walks......He is one very solid pitcher and has not allowed more than 3 ER's in any game this year......The D Back's have lost 7 of their last 9 games, and are in a slump vs Florida.....
Sparks for Zona is not as effective this year and his 2-3 record with 4.98 ERA and only 19 K's atest to......Zona also are only 1-5 in Spark's last 6 starts....Florida is 7-3 in Penny's last 10 starts and are 6-1 the last 7 between the two team....

Waechter for TB has been struggling of late and has lost his last 4 straight starts....In each of his loses he gave up at least 4 runs, not good.....But again, the Devil Rays poor offensive support has to take most of the credit for his and the other pitchers losses as they have been non-existant most times.......
Westbrook, on the other hand, has pitched well at times this year, but he did get tagged by this Devil Ray squad for 8 hits, 5 runs, 1 HR in his last outing vs them......But, and this is where it counts, he still got the win and the Indians still won the game......In fact I won as well Big as it was my Game of Month Winner for me.....Today I go back to well once more, but not as big, but still with a lot of confidence in the Indians and Westbrook today.....I like these Offensive comparison vs the two in this one.....
