Aloha Gang.....I hope you ALL are in good health and spirits today.....Yesterday was a down day for me as I posted a 4W-7L day. . Yet, even with Fridays debacle, my combined record for the week is still a profitable 22W-17L= +8.84 Units. My TOP 3 Unit Plays have also been on FIRE this week going 6-1 so far.....Today, I will again split my card up into TWO SETS PLAYS (early games and late games). I have been finding success overrall doing this so why not continue what has been working for me.......Enough talk already, LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED ALREADY!!!
FIRST SET OF PLAYS:
**TOP 3 UNIT PLAYS ON:
Detroit -115
-The Tigers held the Indians to just a FG, while they put up two TD's and 1 FG, in their dominating win last night......Can you tell that I am missing FB?....Anyways, today I am going to once again back this team who has been lighting it up of late with their HOT hitting offense....The Tigers new disciplined approached at the plate, has allowed them to get more guys on base via walks....Today they face Lee for the Indians who this year has given up just as many walks as he has gotten strikeouts.....Cleveland is a team that has simply struggled on the road this year....They have lost 4 straight and 6 of 8 on the road....I can't go against this Tiger Offense that is putting up big numbers, and who's facing an Indian team that simply sucks away from their house...
Baltimore -129
-Balt is playing solid Offense so far this year...They have been outscoring opponents 65-39 and has also won 7 of their last 8 games. The O's also ranked third in the league in batting average at .286. Balt's sluggers last night put up 15 hits against this Toronto team. They have also posted DD hits in 7 of their last 10 games. Balt today faces their old teammate in Hentgen and he should present no secrets to them as he took the mound for O's from 2001 to 2003......Toronto is simply struggling right now losing 6 of their last 7 games......The BJay's starters this year has gone 1-10 with an ERA of 5.58. Baltimore has the better bullpen and the better hitters.....Plus Toronto is ONLY hitting .184 vs Lefties, while Balt is averaging over .300 hitting vs RHP's.
**2 UNIT PLAYS ON:
Houston -169
-The Rocket is 3-0 with an ERA of .87.....He has also recorded 19 SO's and just 7 walks......Fassero has not recorded a win yet, but does have a 4.70 ERA, and given up 6 walks, with 7 SO's. This is a BIG MISMATCH, between the two.....Houston also have the better guns to support the Rockets, shutdown performances. Houston is also solid on the road so far this year, where they are currently 6-1.
Cubs -1.5 -110
-The Mets has lost 5 of their last 7 games, and has only scored 12 runs during this span.....Today against Woods, their struggles on offense will only get worst. So far this year, Woods has struck out 23 and just given up 9 walks. Woods also career vs the Mets is 4-1 with an ERA of just 1.65. Chicago's Off has been hot and I dont see it stopping today vs Yates...The Cubs are the hottest team right now, winning 4 straight and 7 or their last 10 games.....Cub hitters also hitting over .300 vs RHP, while the Mets are hitting .228 vs RHP...
**1 UNIT PLAYS ON:
Philly -154
-Expose still struggling on Off overall, despite their signs of life in last nights game.....I have to go against Ohka who takes the mound for the Expose as he is 0-3 and is has an ERA of 5.93...He has also only struck out 3 batters, and has given up 4 homeruns this year....Now he must face this Philly squad who has seem to found their stroke, behind their best slugger in Thome, who btw has homered in his last 3 games.....The Expose also this year has been struggling against LHP where the are averaging just .200 hitting... They are also just 1-6 at home this year. Philly is the better overall team and has beaten this Expose team in the last 4 between them..
Boston +200
-RS playing well of late and I have to ride this group, especially with this number given to me...
