Aloha Gang.....I hope you are ALL in good health and spirits today.....Well yesterday was simply a very solid day for me, as I posted a 8W-2L= +10.63 Units. Also kicking ass are my TOP 3 Unit Plays, which have gone 7W-3L= 70%., so far this week Overall for the week, my combined record is 30W-19L= +19.47 Units. Today is the last day of the week and I would like nothing more than to end it with another positive outing for all to enjoy......I will be running another TWO SETS of Plays today, which I have been finding a lot of success with, just like in the CBB that resulted in me spanking ass all day long.......Enough said....LETS ROCK-N-ROLL BABY!
FIRST SET OF PLAYS:
**TOP 3 UNIT PLAYS ON:
Detroit -120
-I aint jumping off this train just yet.....The Tigers have already given me two TOP 3 Unit Winners and today I have no reason to believe it wont happen a third time.....The Tigers are simply HOT and the Indian's are NOT....Indians now have lost 5 straight on the road....They have also currently lost 4 of 5 games in which they have given up 46 runs over this span....Today they again face this surging Tiger squad who have reloaded its team this year with some solid hitting studs....These off season additions to last years team is the main reason why the Tigers has won 11 of 18 so far....They have also helped this Tiger squad to hit at an avg of .292, and to also lead the AL in total runs scored with 117. Clev simply sucks big time away from home, and this amongst other things, should once again be the main reason for another Tiger win and the SWEEP today.
Milw +100
-Milw will go for the SWEEP of the Cards, for the first time in 4 years....They have already beaten the Cards 5 of 6 times this year, and which Sheets on the mound today, I like their chances a lot.....B Sheets is currently 3-0 w/ an ERA of 3.10. In his starts he has posted 20 K's, just 3 walks, 1 HR. J Suppan for STL is currently 1-2 with an ERA of 4.76. In his starts he has posted 13 K's , 5 walks, and 4 HR's.....STL troubles are mainly due though to their once HOT bats to have suddenly go COLD...They have only scored 4 runs in their last 3 games. In Sheets last 3 games he has ONLY gave up 4 earned runs, 13 hits, while striking out 17 batters in 17 innings. STL Suppan is solid vs the Brewers, but with STL struggling badly at the plate, he may not get the support offensively to Top Sheets and this solid hitting Brewer team....Today, Sheets is playing at home where he is 2-0, but he will also be playing for redemption from his poor performance in Milw's season opener vs STL when he was roughed up by this Cardinal team that led to an 8 to 6 loss to start their season.
**2 UNIT PLAYS ON:
Baltimore +100
-Both teams send their ACE's to the mound in this one.....But I have to give the advantage to Ponson, because he will have the offensive support from this very solid hitting O's lineup.....Halladay, on the other hand, though very good and a shut down pitcher, as well as last years Cy Young recipient....cannot expect the same from his offense, except for Carlos Delgado....Halladay's record as a result is 1-3 this year and he has given up 5 HR's.....Ponson's record this year is 2-0 this year and has given up just l bomb...I like the balance of Pitching with Offensive play that the O's will have to be the difference in this one.
Minny +115
-I am sticking with the Twins again in this one today....Last nights lost was just the 2nd in 10 games for the Twins, and only the 2nd win for KC in their last 10 games.....KC's win last night is a good sign, but not enough to make me believe that they have turned things around, as only Carlos Bertan is really playing consistant ball at the plate....Still, he is not enough to dominate this team all the time....Minny will also benefit from the return of All Star Centerfielder Torri Hunter who returns from an injury.....The Twins has already won 4 of the last 5 vs KC and I feel they will extend this streak today.
Chicago WS -1.5 -105
-WS send Buehrle to the mound where he has a career record of 5-1 vs TB....He will be facing TB's Gonzalez who is 0-3 this year, has an ERA of 9.39, only 4 K's, allowed 7 walks, and given up 5 HR's.....Gonzalez last time he faced the WS gave up 5 runs, 10 hits, 2 walks, 2 K's, and 2 HR's in alittle over 5.2 innings, which led to a 5-0 lost to the WS.....Gonzalez is still struggling, which was the reason why he was taken out of the starters rotation.....The only reason why he is back in the lineup and starting today is because he is replacing left hander Hendrickson who is struggling as well....Today, I see the WS bats being able to get to him again.....
**1 UNIT PLAYS ON:
Cubs -155
-The Pitchers taking the mound today are both solid, but Clements will have the advantage again because he will get support from this HOT hitting Cubs lineup.....Leiter unfortunately cannot expect the same from this ice cold Mets lineup....How bad has the Mets offense at the plate been?....Well to start the Mets have dropped 7 of their last 8 games, and scored ONLY 12 runs during this span.....As a team, the Mets are hitting ONLY .145 (8 for 55).....The Cubs, on the other hand, have won 9 of their last 11 games, and are currently on a 5 game League leading win streak. During this time, the Cubs have outscored their opponents 35-4....Good pitching can keep a team in a game, but it wont win a game without the support from its offense.....Until the Mets find their offense, I will fade them every time when playing a team with this type of balance...
Boston RS -113
-Boston's sluggers already roughed up the Yanks Vazquez back on 4-16....In that game he gave up 9 hits, and 4 earned runs over 5 1/3 innings, that led to a 6-2 Boston victory....Pedro will be pitching in NY for the first time since Game 7 of last years ALCS, where he gave up the lead in the 8th inning that eventually led to the Yankee Win and trip to the World Series.....I feel that Pedro has been waiting for this game since last year, and because of this, he will come out completely focused on getting the redemption with a win today....He will definately have the advantage over Vazquez, and the Sox's Offensive is on a roll and lighting it up at the plate, while the Yankee's continue to struggle hitting as a team only .228....This team batting average of the Yankee's ranks next to last in the league, and vs a very motivated and redemption seeking Pedro Martinez, I see it just getting worst.....BTW, Vazquez's career record vs Boston is 0-2....I hate the EVIL NATION!

lol omaha, i am not trying to include this in some record which i post daily. i simply posted it in the first inning when the score was 0-0 after i ran into co-capt's feeling on the game. no need to give me credit on the game. although if dodgers woulda lost, i would have gotten heat. the point is, it was NOT a bash. merely my feeling on the game. so long as my account grows in $$$$$, i am satisfied
