Aloha Gang , well lets get to it. The books want to continue giving us gifts on Hawaii, well I take it everyday.

4 Unit Play on :

Hawaii +2 (WINNER)

-In this game, I'll take the Leading scorer in the Conf. with Hawaii's Kuebler over the LA Techs leading rebounder in the Nation. The havent started just yet, but I saw the arena , and it is empty, seems like no support for the home team. Another Warrior advantage.

-GL to all today and Aloha CC.

Good luck with your plays Co-Capt .... I'm with you on Florida .... as an aside I heard your Rainbow Warrior mascot might be in a little trouble for being a little too overzealous at times .... Know anything about that??

Aloha genosays, first good luck to you as well. As far as Vili goes, yes some people are saying that he is to aggressive. When he first started he use to stand in front of the tunnel leading to the field, and would go head on with all the guys coming out to start the game. But they stopped him from doing that so much , cause some were afraid of him hurting the players. LOL Anyways, for most who dont know, us Polynesians, play with alot of emotion, heart , and pride. This sometimes gets the best of us and things like the brawling, or Vili's intensity gets alittle misinterpreted.

Vili when on the field, is in character like any other mascot is. I guess because of the War paint and the fact that he can talk and yell, brings his character to be almost to spooky, and cause fear to some. Hey, my personal opinion is that I like him. He brings out the best in the guys. He makes us remember that we are in a war. He is a great motivator in my eyes. Well, at least I in my playing days would surely get motivated by him in my face. LOL

Football is an aggressive sport, and those that cant except that well, should stick to watching tennis or bowling. IMO. People are simply just taking his character to literally. If you were to ask any of the guys about Vili, they would tell you how much they love the energy and enthusiasm he brings to the game. But they will also tell you how much of a teddy bear and nice person he is off the field. I am glad that they did an interview with him, cause then all could have seen how this father of 4 children is really a down to earth humble guy. First thing he did was to appologize to everyone and anyone he may have offended in his routine, and he did this while he was in tears. He just loves being a Polynesian as we all are, and he just loves Hawaii as we all do. Aloha .

Adding:

4 Unit Play on:

USC -3, NM -2

-USC is playing with alot of energy and enthusiasm, especially after spanking Arizona the other night. I cant see anything less than a repeat session against the Wildcats weaker brother tonight.
-NM is shooting an impressive 47.4% from the field. Just as impressive is that each game they have 5 player who average in the double figures, I think this will be to much for the Falcons of Air Force to match up with.

3 Unit Play on:

Fresno St +4

-Fresno has really turned things around and playing good ball. I see them taking care of the Miners who I feel needs to be exposed and the Bulldogs are just the type of aggressive ball club that can do this.

GL and Aloha CC.

For this 3 game road trip. Hawaii won 3 straight games, going 3-0 on the road for the first time since 1979. WOW.

I on the other hand went 3W-1L= +5 Units, Yeah Booey! Congrats to all who followed. Aloha, CC.

hi Co-Caption,
a little off the subject but did you watch the
Wie girl play? She must be something. I played
in the '83 Open there at Wailai(been so long I'm
not sure of spelling). One of the few courses
still being played from my era. I just came
out of the locker room after finishihg Sunday
when I heard one of the loudest roars ever...
Aoki had just holed out on 18 from 50 yards out
of the rough to win the tourney over Jack Renner. Poor Jack was never the same.
Anyway, I just wanted to say Aloha and I follow
your picks as they are well thought out and
written.
