Syracuse -15.5


-This week Syracuse wont have to deal with another high flying Offense like they did vs Purdue...and they wont have to rely on its inexperienced QBs to play catch up either...Nope, this one should be all RB Walter Reyes show...Buffalo's defense last week couldnt handle or contain E Michigan's RB Anthony Sherrell as he rushed for 151 yards vs them...In total, the Bulls defense last week gave up a total of 248 yards on 57 carries vs E Michigan...This definately is not good news for this Bulls team who must now face a much better opponent with one of the best RB's in the nation last year in Reyes...I cant see anything less than RB Reyes having a HUGE day and leading Syracuse to a much needed win over their weaker non-conference neighbor "da Bulls".

On a side note: This one is being televised locally...and after lasts weeks National tv embarassing loss to Purdue, I have to see Coach P not wanting to have another one of those.

*TOP 6 UNIT BIG BLOWOUT PLAY ON:


Oklahoma St -21


-This is another game where I see a devasting ground game being the overwhelming deciding factor leading to a solid win...Oklahoma St definately has a bruising ground attack that should totally destroy this weak Tulsa Defense....Last year as we seen in the Humanitarian Bowl, GT and its bruising ground attack took it straight to Tulsa and their was nothing the Golden Hurricanes could do to stop them once it got rolling...RB Morency for Oklahoma St rushed for an amazing 261 yards vs that athletic Bruin defense, and today I expect him to possibly gain over 300 yards vs Tulsa...Tulsa was one of last seasons surprise teams, but that they have no more surprises to give its opponents this year...Last week they could only amass 141 yards and 3 pts vs a weaker Kansas Jayhawk squad...I wonder what they expect on doing today vs this Cowboy squad who is much better and who returns 9 on Defense...I say not much if any...Tulsa's time was last year...this year its all about their in-state Big Brothers again....

Side Note: This game is also an in-state game, and even if Oklahoma St is a heavy favorite and expected to win...these kind of games is still important and needs to be won in BIG dominating fashion, because it definately has an impact on the recruiting of players coming from Oklahoma and its neighboring states.

I have Marshal at +17.5. I just never saw it at anything other than 17 all week. Just wondering if my outs have strange lines.

Know what you mean...thats why I check the RX line sites and other sites that continually update various line from different books just to see whats really going on...I got caught last year using one book whose lines were totally off...Anyways, thanks for responding...Marshall looking good so far...GL and Aloha CC.

Yep, the Ohio State coach is so damn conservative that I just don't see how they'll ever maintain a big lead. Something to consider in future games.

That was the only thing that made me a little cautious on this one, hense only a 3 unit play on them....Still, I felt that their defense like always would come up big and at least hold Marshall to only FGs...and that as the game went on, their size and continued pounding of the Marshall defense would overwhelm them in the end..just like they did vs Cincy...While possibly catching a Marshall team that is still reeling from their upset loss....Oh well, those two TD's by Marshall is ruining my projections...but it also gives me some good info on this Marshall team for future references as well.
