Ironic to see Austin sitting there at #4.
I got cold called last week from a recruter telling me she has an operations gig for me with my skill sets, she could have gotten me 90K, which is like 30K more than I am worth.

I've been looking at jobs in Austin also. Dell has been hiring but those jobs are for entry level phone tech support and the other jobs have been for rather specific positions.

Illegal to place a wager online in Washington. It's the one state in the country where it's a felony. Ohio makes it a felony to be a professional gambler.

I agree. Wall Street Journal ran a story today about unemployment in Vegas, currently 12.3%, almost 3% over the national average. The article mentions a guy that got a job at the M resort as a cook, who had to beat out 10,000 other people for the job.

go into any job in the medical field, takes a little schooling but you wont ever be unemployed (unless someone discovers a medical cure for a major disease)
most facilities are short handed
