Most handicappers who sell picks simply to make a living. The are marketing and sales companies, not in the business of finding you winners. It is a shady industry at best.

It is great you are already astute enough to know the difference. You can track SRI ( Star Rating Integrity) & easily separate them. Best are Marc Lawrence & Victor King at playbook.com
You ask a great question. Good job! Key is to know the difference between a ' Pick Seller' and a Handicapper which has Game Plan , Money & Game Management built into ' Late Plays.'
Ex of a Pick Seller is Phil Steele at North Coast - sells 56 picks per week. Best Marc Lawrence & Victor King at playbook.com. Both have ' Late Plays' with everything built in for you.

Not bashing Mark Lawrence because he has a magazine (playbook) I buy every year. He and King are TREND players. Save your money because there are so many trend resources available on the net. Don Best for one that I like. Others a plenty......
Don't waste your time. Do it yourself using all available info. But...if you wanna tail someone check out the posters in the forums who have theirplays and records liste. You will find some pretty good ones
