I'm not buying FSU, they have struggled with Miami, Louisville, Clemson, ND, OK St and even NC ST. At this point in the season, not one of those teams is even a top 20 team.

I want them to make the playoffs, I want them to play Bama, I would make up for my terrible YTD college football season in one play. That game would look like Bama vs ND, FL vs Ohio St, USC vs OK, the game will be a one sided mismatch from from start to finish

1. THE OSU, with Barrett as qb, who should win Heisamann, a very tuff team..
2.Oregon, again qb play is essential
3.FLA St..Love him or hate him...Winston wins, like a qb should.
4.Bammy..tuff team, but why is every g within a td??if they are so good; why did they lose; have svn g with Ark and LSU???
5.TCU
6.Jawjah..tuff team riictch now

(I'm unimpressed with FSU but they need to be in the top 4 as they are still undefeated)

Ohio St definitely deserves to be in the top 4 as the eye test clearly shows they are probably #1 or #2

I have to put Florida St on top no doubt about it.....Undefeated,team has not lost in 20 years....LOL.

1-Florida St.
2-Alabama
3-Oregon
4-Ohio St.

Only 4 matters.

I said about 4 weeks ago in another forum that neither Miss teams would make the final 4.

1. Oregon. They have the best player in QB Mariota
2. Alabama. They have the best HC.
3. Florida State. All of these last minute wins will take their toll.
4. Ohio State. Very difficult here, but I believe that Miss. State loses at Ole MIss and the Big 12 is very weak.
5. Baylor. They defeated TCU, who barely survived against Kansas, and probably will have a huge problem with Texas.
6. Miss. State. Good team, but not good enough.

If both Bama & Miss St lose, would the SEC be out in the cold as far as the playoffs are concerned ?

Probably not. The Committee knows just how bad the ACC, Big 12 and Big 10 really are. In the ACC, it is Florida State or nobody. In the Big 12, TCU is probably finished. That 4 point win against Kansas was as good as a loss. Baylor has a shot, if enough teams lose more than 1 game. If not, their extremely weak schedule (128 out of 128) eliminates them. Do not sell Wisky short against Ohio State in the Big 10 CC game. Right now, you have 6 teams with one loss, and 1 team with no losses. Marshall does not count. None of those teams play each other again. I like Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State and Baylor to end the season with one loss. Miss. State has a chance of they defeat Ole Miss on the road. TCU must beat a revived Texas team in Austin on Turkey Night. Flolrida State runs the table again.

If TCU beats Texas it raises their clout again since Texas is now a bowl team. Minnesota is also an 8 win bowl team too, so that doesn't hurt the Frogs either. Plus TCU easily defeated Minny and OSU struggled with them. If the SEC has all two loss teams they better hope Ohio State, Oregon, TCU or Baylor loses another game or they may not be in the playoff because I still believe wins and losses count. I still think it is possible for all of these teams to lose. Baylor probably has the easier road, but KSU is never a team you can take lightly.
