kids playing travel ball, there sick of all the bs. The pitch counts, the no diving head first, the parents not being allowed to say there kids name during the game, the yellow duct tape around the dugouts, the no playing 2 leauges at the same time.

Eastcoast admins screwed this thing up, even our local admins with the retarded new format with the 2 regions.

Was I the only one at the Rx that made Little Leauge all stars? Probably.

dsethi I go to the socal and west regionals and see lots of old time great athletes like you and railbird. It is great drama and pure sport only a little messed up by admins and coaches. There are millions more pedophiles in front of computer screens than at the ball yard. Every year guys here cry pedophile then watch the espn LL games and cash on rails capping

Who the hell is rating Little League teams?!

How is it not one team from the midwest is on the list? Kids at age 12 are pretty much just as good no matter where they are from

Midwest reps lost 18 straight in Williamsport at one point.

All-star from age 10-17, quit halfway through senior year of high school hitting .400. I don't remember giving 2 shits about the 'system' then, or now, except for the politics with coaches giving their children and children's friends more PT and making teams

why anyone would care about little league baseball unless they have a kid playing is beyond me

only way i'd go back to the park is if they honored the team skinsraj and i led when we were 12 years old to the best regular season record in the history of the city

otherwise, I'll leave the stands to the parents and the pedophiles

exactly what it is....alll pollitics.....coaches sons playing even if they are the worst on the team and so on....

Little League meant much to us all. I started for our team on opening day and if our hick town had a band, it would have played. I remember many of my pitches. I threw desperation against the best team in the league (they seemed to be 'Rocky' Russian seven foot beef robots) with my sweet in the stands. I lasted four innings. We lost but I won a life-long memory same as all these championship teams that make it anywhere close to Williamsport. I knew Dsethi played ball but didn't know about Skinsraj on the same team. F the ridiculous screwy pedophile talk. Obviously coaches and parents influence things but that has been going on since 'games' were invented. Commercial money stains any media event on the fringe but changes nothing about the watchable contest between the pitcher and a twelve y/o with a bat. I enjoy the rankings but recognize that they sometimes echo loudmouth parental influence on a game better decided by kids.

Kind of like the business world. Where people who kiss ass on a regular basis get the better jobs. Bosses are so insecure they would rather have someone they know working for them rather than someone who is more competent. Then the guy they know runs the business into the ground but no problem, they can always start over at another business where they know the boss they used to kiss ass to.

One of the biggest bets of my life when Kyle threw against that shitty New Hampshire team. Once I got confirmation he was twirling it was a huge overlay at -300 up to -600. Would have stung badly if they lost somehow at that price as it was maxed and maxed and maxed wherever there was a line for however many times they lot me pop it. Should be in that bad line thread. I think it was an 8-0 final or something like that.

Dsethi,

If you had access to some of these SoCal regional tournaments you would change your mind, that Conejo Valley team was very good to watch and the idea of lose and go home is like MArch Madness.

I get bored watching the La Angels of Anaheim in Orange County. I have access to free diamond clubs behind home nightly and havent gone once this year.
