Last night was their first time allowing 100 yards to a rb in 29 games. And it took a perfect game flow and OT to do it.

Wouldn't count on that repeating, especially AT Baltimore.

In this day and age you really cant put much stock on who plays who in week 16.

The injuries in this day and age changes everything.

Never in the history of football is a 16 game season so long.

By then nobody knows who is going to be good at what.

In the salary cap era no team has any kind of real depth.

I would never draft based on playoff schedule.

Always BPA.

I never draft on that or by weeks.

I pay no attention to bye weeks.

Always take BPA.

It depends on the league settings like I said. If all your $ is concentrated on winning the last few weeks, then yeah you would maybe ding him for having to face a few better defenses late in the year.

Think if he stays healthy he is the best bet to provide the most cumulative value though. Atleast in PPR.

I started out 0-2 without bell in the $500 league with his replacement those 2 weeks not breaking 4 points in either game.
And I lost both games by less then 10 points.

So its safe to say drafting him made me go 0-2.

I hope he makes up for it.

Not sure who you started in his place but you probably should have started DeAngelo Williams and you would have been 2-0. So I wouldn't blame Bell, I'd look in the mirror.

If all the $ is decided in those 2 weeks then you have to give value to that part of the schedule as a variable. Sure you don't go too crazy with it because defenses regress to the mean far more than offense from year to year because of injuries and free agency, but you still need to take it into account.

If a guy is on the Revis Island week 15 and 80% of your league $ is decided in the playoffs, then you might wanna take a different player.

100% agree on bye weeks

100% disagree on ignoring schedules. Matchups are huge, and since the vast majority of fantasy players totally ignore that aspect it can give you a leg up.

I'll say this about him. He certainly has the highest weekly floor of every player in fantasy just based on how involved he is in every facet.

Alfred Blue .

Totally shit the bed the 2 weeks I played him in Bells absence.

Hindsight is 20/20

I stupidly benched Amari Cooper week 2 because of how much of a disaster raiders were week 1 and lost because of it

Chopper you are without a doubt the biggest clown in the history of the forums. You drive that home on a weekly basis. Over the past 11 years does it ever get old?

So, just to make this clear. You drafted Bell, and from there your strategy for weeks 1 and 2 was to draft and play Alfred Blue.

I would say that's a Chop problem.

Oh yea got rocked in week 2.
Got my leagues mixed up in 4 leagues and have him in 2.

Lost week 1 in RX 500 by 8 and Blue sucked.

I dont regret drafting Bell and im not mad at him. LOL

I would draft him again if I had it to do over again.

And HC.

Blue was not a bad option in a 12 team league on paper.

How was I to know that a 32 year old back was going to do what he did the first 2 weeks.
He has not had 2 games like that in over 5 years.

Blue was the starter with Foster out.
Not a bad option on paper.

They said Foster was going to be out 2 weeks so my plan was Blue for the 2 weeks Bell and Foster was out.

Willie what we going to do about this bet?
Are we going to need to adjust the payout to account for inflation?
