I have been fading this team for quite a while...had already counted tonight as a loss at -166 and was cursing myself for not laying off after winning big yesterday against them. I usually walk away from the series once I make money against them. I got greedy and faded again tonight.
This team is terrible. They can't hit...they can't field...they have no starting pitching...and their bullpen cannot get an out. They are horrid.
BUT...this thing isn't over yet. Cordero is anything but automatic this season.

I have been fading them during the year too and would never put my worst enemies money on them.
I made a good amount on Texas over KC last night and didnt like tonights matchup (not because I thought KC would win) but more what you said. Once I get a nice win against them, I move on.
They are an absolute joke.

Man I thought that they would win tonight. Keppel's last outing in Seattle he went toe to toe with Moyer who has a tremendous record against the Royals in his lifetime. Keppel facing Koronka who struggled the last time out not even making it out of the 2nd inning.....thought I would take a shot, but nonetheless they cough it up once again. Agony

Amen, that is what I have been saying all season. This team is going to be +200 every night, which means they have to win 54 games to break even, and they won't do that. This team is AWFUL in every facet of the game. If the starter doesn't get bombed one night, the bullpen will, and vice versa. Burgois (Sp?) has blown half his save opps. Nothing is going to change, they aren't injured, there are no studs in the minors, they flat stink and won't get any better any time soon. I know they won 1 in NYY this year, but they are 1-22 in their last 23. Please guys, stop falling in love with the +220 and realize THIS TEAM STINKS.
I don't care what the line is, who they have pitching, if the opposing pitcher is garbage, I CAN NEVER BET ON THIS TEAM. When I see the lineup they throw out on a daily basis I could never be confident that this team could win for me. This is pretty much a little league team, scrapped together with some aging veterans who were never really difference makers in there careers. Here is a legit question....will this team EVER be favored in a baseball game again this season???
