Way too many west coast teams. West coast sucks this year, which is surprising compared to the advantages they have population and weather wise over most parts of the country.

I saw a week ago Salisbury,MD made the LLWS. What exactly does this mean? I have not heard one thing since then and cannot find information online as to where to follow it. Anyone know anything?

Way too many west coast teams. West coast sucks this year, which is surprising compared to the advantages they have population and weather wise over most parts of the country.

Couple of things. Chandler is easily #2 team in USA bracket of Williamsport. behind only Texas, and could beat them on a good day if they dont catch Williams. Yes West region is down and that is because so many kids opting for travel ball because LL has become a bureacratic right wing organization with stupid rules like no diving and pitch counts. Claremont, Ca was an offensive machine that had to play Solana in a best of 3 with there ace out because of unfair bracket scheduling. Both Tustin and Claremont would have crushed Solana under normal circumstances. Also Chandler benefited vs Solana as Solana pitcher on short rest.

I understand that the rankings probably okay, just fun to pick on your west coast bias when I can. That being said, West is WAY down this year.

We did find out that in College world series that North Car was #5 behind UCI,CSF,ASU and the Beavers.

I thought all the regions were down this year except Southwest, Midwest, and Great Lakes but MW and GL could only get better. Venezuela only international team up from last year. JApan and Georgia both down from last year.
