That line caught our attention at the same time, remember ?

Also check out the probs at 5dimes for this fight.
Some info on the fight :
It is universum event (Krasniqi Universum vs Hofmann Sauerland) may be important if it is close.
Trainer Schmitz (Krasniqi) : Luan has to avoid Hoffmanns power and move and box. (I like the trainer Schmitz alot not much talk but he did excellent work with Luan)
Hofmann sparred in US with Etienne and was doing some work with Mcgirt, so if you very high on Mcgirt ...

i have some other european acquaintances on the net...they are usually sharp...

not tony montana sharp, but sharp....here`s what they said....

my question...

"the over/under on this thing is 7.5 rounds....i really don`t understand this total....even though krasniqi melted down vs the pole,he hasn`t shown the tendency to get stopped....nor,does it look like he`ll stop this 6`7" monster hoffman....

hoffman doesn`t appear to be the type of guy that stops the better guys he faces.....and he seems to have decent whiskers(12 with klitschko...never been stopped...)....

this looks for all the world like a decision either way to me....

of course, this is based on raw data...having never seen either guy with my own eyes....

was also looking at jeff lacy vs sheika....i don`t think this makes it to the cards,....even though sheika is tough and durable,he does tend to rumble, regardless of the opposition....and tends to break up...not a defensive fighter,to put it mildly...

was going to parlay lacy inside the distance with over 7.5 in hoffman/krasniqi.....

you guys still think krasniqi can hang in with hoffman?....

thanks...

From what I have seen of both (and I have seen Hoffman more) it is going to be a distance fight and a wide UD for Krasniqi.

Jrm, you make it sound like Krasniqi is the underdog? Is he?

S

Krasniqi is about a 2 -1 favorite.

Jrm, The only place the I seen that had it over 7.5 is 5 dimes but you have to lay -205 on the over. This thing looks like an over to me too, but I would rather take the over 11.5 at -105. I would rather give up a few rounds and save the 100% juice. Just my style but good luck in what ever you do. Have you found the over 7.5 anywhere else?

jrm,

I have seen both fighters 3+ times. Hoffmann does not have the skill to KO Krasnij. It would have to be a lucky punch. The only KO that would be coming is if Krasnij gets to Hoffmann. Krasnij has more punch variety than Vitali, so he might be able to find a way under or around Hoffmanns Orangutan arm guard. Vitali kept trying the direct route. But Krasnij is not such a big banger, so Hoffmann will probably hang on regardless.

The distance and wide UD looks a very safe bet.

Hoffman has an iron chin, a lot of size and a clinching style. He is the one man Vitaly did not really put a hurt on, then again Vitaly was coming into the fight off a serious injury. Vitaly won all 12 rounds vs Hoffman.

Krasinqi has some skills, a wide arsenal of punches ( nice uppercut ) but, he doesn't hit nearly as hard as Vitaly does.

This fight looks like it will go the distance. Krasinqi should win on points. He has more skill. If Krasinqi wins, I could make a case that he has done enough to become a top ten heavyweight. Krasniqui's lone loss was when he inexplicitly quit vs some polish fighter. Laun avenged the loss with a 1st round ko. As an amateur, Luan was considered a star prospect. I view him as a decent jack of all trade kind of fighter, but master of none.

just wanted to verify the info you guys provided previously....i have a german acquaintance that`s very boxing savvy who also thinks the over is solid....(tony montana...i`m talking about you)...

marks...i straight bet this over when it hit the board at -155.......and krasniqi at-140....

i was trying to figure a way to get a little more out of the prop without paying to high a price...

sheika could hang with lacy....but,i have to say that i thought that lacy`s performance vs a tough, skilled syd vanderpool was fantastic...i always thought that vanderpool was a tremendous boxer/puncher...a very tough guy to fight...and a class act...

sheika, should be right there....maybe lacy ends up boxing...i suspect there will be alot of heavy shots thrown here...

just have to believe that the heavy handed lacy can do some serious damage here....not selling sheika short...just think that he sometimes has a little to much heart for his own good...with his height,he should box a little more and pick his spots to set down on shots.....but,once the sh-t hits the fan, like gatti,i expect sheika to revert to form...

I agree with your sources. I just played another parlay with Krasniqi via dec and klitschko inside the distance. Williams will not go 12 with Klit maybe he gets lucky and opens the cut of Vitali but he looks extremly pumped up (he is probably juice and Vitaly can step on the pedal in the last three rounds to get somebody out of there.) If williams comes out offensive this wont go to long.If krasniqi and Vitali deliver the christmas presents gonna be a little bigger than usual.

Good luck and its always a pleasure to communicate with you.

Pretty much agree spinch. Sheika is there to be hit. I don't feel he will stick to any plan involving pure boxing and sticking and moving. If and when Lacy rocks him, he will go into attack mode, and look out. Bombs away. Sheika has fought at lt. heavy and he ain't no pansy. Jeff just gets more power behind his shots.

Well I dont know anything about these guys but I'm gonna ride with you guys. I threw some dough on Krasniqi at -189. After reading some comments by Hoffman on Fightnews I gotta feeling that this guy is a clown and is gonna get beat. "I’ve never seen any skills from Luan Krasniqi," Hoffmann stated recently. "He’s fighting like an amateur. It will be easy for me to defeat him. He is just a stepping stone for me. I’m good enough to become world champion." Krasniqi responded by saying "Sometimes I really have to smile about the things that Timo is saying. Very often he is just opening his mouth and says something. But what he says makes no sense. He can’t back it up with anything. We all know the way Timo Hoffmann is fighting. And it’s definitely not like Muhammad Ali."
