Clark looks like the easy bet.

Not only that but Gonzalez will be double teamed most of the year. Don't know why the Chiefs keep a guy like this who really doesn't fit into their rebuilding plans. They should have traded him when they traded Jared Allen or last year and got some draft picks or younger talent. Tony G. won't flourish in this offense. Under 6 wins for the Chiefs for sure.

Clark had just over 600 last year, Gonzalez had almost 1200.

I was wondering when someone would bring that up.

Same QB throwing to both players also.

I wouldn't touch it. I don't think Gonzo has a very good year, but Clark usually isn't a huge yardage guy.

If TG has 800 yards recieving which would be one of the worst years of his career.

That would require DC to have 1000 yards recieving.

No, it would require Clark to have 600 yards receiving. He is +200.5, not -200.5.

My bad, I read the line wrong. No wonder I thought this bet was so much in TG favor.

Thats about right then. Dont see much value either way.

I say Clarke. Hell of a player.

First off, it's Clark, not Clarke........:103631605

Not sure, really haven't examined it that closely.

I'm sure the line is relatively where it should be and it will undoubtedly come down to who does and doesn't stay healthy between the two.

Of course, I'm hoping Dallas has more recieving yds. than any other TE in the league.

I still believe he is the best TE in the league when everything is considered, the reasons being he is not only a great reciever, but also a fantastic blocker, is versitle enough to play many and all other recieving positions, and is a great team player.

And for added measure, he also has a Superbowl ring and is a native of Humboldt County, Iowa.

Certainly a longshot at this time, but Dallas actually has an oppurtunity to become a HOFer some day. It will take the Colts winning another Superbowl with Clark being one of the main cataylast's, much like he was when they won the Superbowl(he led the all playoff recievers that year in total catches AND yards), to even have a chance at this though.

Still one of the most underrated players not only on the Colts, but the entire NFL.

I don't care how many yards Clark has as long as he scores many TD's. I have Clark and Manning so every TD is double points for me.

Tony G will get his I wouldn't touch the prop bet.

*Why is Gonzalez going to be double teamed more this year than any other?

*Gonzalez's offensive numbers and Chiefs total team wins are not correlated.

Because the offensive line is in shambles and can't open running lanes. Without the dominant offensive line they have had over the years, the team will be forced to throw and opposing defenses will know this and double team Tony G and Bowe.

Offensive line was just as bad last year or worse.

2007 Stats:
Gonzalez 99 1172 73.3 11.8 31 3.2 59 5
Bowe 70 995 62.2 14.2 58 5.2 51 5

Not to mention, no Larry Johnson for most of the year. Other than that, good point.
