Tons of $$$ on NO plus 5.5. Line down to 4 in some places.

Should be interesting. This one may be lower scoring than the Piston game.

Time to say last rites over the first round. The Heat did play well at home down the stretch, and they did beat the Hornets by 30 in game two, but they've been regressing since - while the so so Hornets have regained a bit of confidence. I'm passing.

Rio, You guys are cutting edge. What ya got for us if Pacers sweep?

BTW, I had Pistons. It was a great game! At least that's my story.

We appreciate your words. Actually, from our seat a Pacer Sweep seems more likely than the spurs vs. Lakers. Will we consider something in the event that the Pacers sweep? Why not. A $500.00 meal at Morton's? That would be a little aggressive. However, for all Pacer fans to cheer for, we will give a free $100.00 betting account at Rio with 4x rollover to all Pacer fans who respond that they believe the Pacers will sweep through the next series. Good luck to all!!!

Having won 3 of the last 4, plus the tight margins(close 2 of 3 @Mia, where as Mia not as close as score @NO), savvy vets are definitely a live dog, but the young legs of the Heat keep closing the games stronger, and home court has held serve, it could come Heat ML & Hornets ATS again, like Gm-5?

The way the refs have been calling it, it could come down to whom Stern thinks makes for a better series/ratings draw for Indy?..Heat larger market, but Hornets have beaten Indy this year & have playoff vets..Pacers roll either 4-0 or 4-1.

I'm on the Hornets, but expecting extreme homerism by Refs, as Miami is an up-and-comer that will challenge Indy in East for future, thus a need to start their "story" together, while NO is heading west next year & old, thus no future storyline, and making it a tougher call.

Rio - I like that, what do we have to do?

Never mind, I found the thread.

Game is at -5 -106 (Pinn.) right now. No way I can play on New Orleans which has gone 5 and 20 straight up in it's last 25 road games. Would I like to find a 4.5 - you betcha. Heat wins at home in spite of inexperience. Dwayne Wade, Eddie Jones, Lamar Odom and friends get the money.

Don't forget. You do not need to suffer through this.

Flyers vs Leafs will be along side.

Even if Miami wins ugly, say 61-52, Wilheim will be doing no suffering. Last night's Pistons game was not pretty but I enjoyed it (outcome) immensely. I guess it's true, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. BTW, good luck with the pucks G.

vegassportspics,

Thanks and best of luck to you as well. I am vocal about my inability to enjoy this game, but I am also envious of those who can sit and watch it. I can do a few minutes at a time normally unless there is just no other option, then I will listen to it in the background, looking up occasionaly. I do wager NBA. I have just lost the desire to watch the game.

Have a nice evening

G, I hear you. My watching enjoyment from the Bird/Magic days are long gone. Today's play can be excruciating to watch. The me first attitude is also tough to take. Much of the time I keep an eye on sportsline scoreboards. At least we have football to look forward to. (never have followed Hockey, perhaps my loss) BOL.

The effects of taking high schoolers by the NBA has killed their game, gate, and tv ratings.

It seriously hurt the college game also, though nowhere nearly as much as the bad karma that the NBA got in their just desserts..such a putrid product, that only gamblers & winning elite team fanbases can barely stomach it.

I've only watched it during the playoffs since the '99 season.

This under may have been the lock of the playoffs.

Heat by 8 - 85-77 - 162 points. Easy easy under, scary cover.

vegassportspics - Thanks. The youngsters and rookie coach Stan Van Gundy move on. Good series for a change in these NBA playoffs. Hornets hung tough without an injured Baron Davis.
