Lousville -2.5 (3 Units)

Louisville @ home on a week night is hard to bet against. Especially when they have beaten teams like Pitt, Syracuse, Notre Dame, West Virginia, and Kentucky @ home. They are 7-1 ATS their last 8 games, the one that they didnt cover was this past weekend against WVU. It says enough for me when Louisville had 26 turnovers and still won the game by 6 points. WVU is a pretty good ball team as well. I think Louisville was over looking the Mountaineers and had their minds already on tonights game vs. #1 UCONN. Louisville's defense is playing great and they will continue to tonight.

Fading you.
Got UCONN +3 earlier this morning.
Anytime I can get the Huskies with points, I'm on it.
Price and Thebeet have stepped up their games.
Monster game tonight, should be a great one.

p.s. good write up, best of luck to you.

Yea, UCONN +3 is hard to turn down. I just want a good ball game. Thebeet is doing really well, and in his interviews seems to be humble about his/UCONN's play as of late. Thanks for the compliment, good luck

i would think that the under would hit, but i am horrible at U/O. I mean very, very horrible, like 6-14 my last 20. So dont take my word on the under

You must have not watched the Louisville-WVU game. They led that game by a million at halftime. They definitley were not looking ahead. I agree with this pick and I think Ville has finally righted the ship and are Final 4 material.

They dominated WVU in the first half and just went ice cold in the 2nd. Even with the furious comeback attempt from WVU, i dont think they ever got closer than 6 so it never got to the point where it was a toss up down the stretch.

IMO both these teams will be in Detroit at the end of March and I think Terrence Williams is the best player in the Big East.

But Uconn wins tonight. They are the best team in the country and a matchup nightmare for just about everyone.

They are one of the few teams that can match or even excede in this case the size and strength of teams like Lousville, pitt, wake forest. Where the big advanatage comes is in the guard play. They have probably the 3 best guards in this game all on their team. I think that will be the difference. Lousville has gotten by despite poor guard play and dumb play after dumb play my Edgar sosa, i dont think they can overcome that against a team as good as uconn tonight.

This will certainly be the biggest test of the season for Connecticut and the toughest game they will play, but they have shown they can go on the road in a tough environment and win big games. @Gonzaga, and @ ND (I guess we have seen ND is not as good as most thought, but you dont win 40+ in a row at home for no reason).

Edit: Biggest concern is no doubt Thabeet, he needs to show up in a big game, he did did not against Gonzaga or ND, they need him to be big tonight to win. Not scoring, but defense and rebounding, cant rely on Gavin Edwards to play at such a high level like he did in those 2 previous games.

I agree that Lousville is on a mission GimmeDatt, and I only watched the WVU game here and there, but when i watched it they looked like they werent very focused. So IMO they were thinking more about the big game tonight than they were focused during Saturday's game

Both have size, speed, both play great defense and both rebound well.

I think its going to come down to who can take care of the ball and the efficency of each teams perimeter shooting.
