Just saw this. If it's close at halftime, maybe the players will play for Coach O. LSU second half is a possibility.

This is why people need to stop posting damn rumors as facts. Many idiots had him going to Texas.

Herman is playing with lsu much like fisher did last year. Lsu just too gullible and desperate. Herman goes to Texas after Texas fires Charlie after last game. Kiffin goes to LSU

LOL Longhorns. Now we know why they didn't get around to telling Charlie he was a goner.

However, they may now be able to pickup Ed Ogeron.

I won`t be making any bets tomorrow

But i can see Houston laying a big egg against Memphis.....Coming off that huge win against Louisville and now the coaching situation.

Memphis looks juicy at +5

Good luck!

If Houston's Tom Herman agrees to become LSU's new coach, what will Texas do about current coach Charlie Strong? Sources close to the Texas situation have told ESPN this week that university president Gregory Fenves doesn't want to fire Strong, who is 16-20 in his third season. But influential boosters want to fire him and replace him with Herman. But if Herman is off the market, and the Longhorns defeat TCU on Friday to become bowl eligible, the chances of Strong keeping his job might increase dramatically.

This seems very reminiscent of the LSU situation with Les Miles. UH Officials said this morning that they presented HC Herman with a new contract on Monday of this week but have not gotten a reply. The expect to lose him within the next 48 hrs...after the Memphis game i'm guessing.

lol, I felt bad for the way Strong was treated. However, he lost to Kansas. He needs to go. For whatever reason, the kids didn't play for him. Qualifying for some stupid bowl today doesn't change anything. It didn't work out. I guess he needs to wait to be fired instead of leaving on his own because of money?
