Anyone have any good insight on this game?

I'm just having a retched season...Seems like Cincy is the play. Toledo just lost its starting QB to ACL tear, has a decent RB vs top prospect QB making his debut, semi-veteran defensive squad, some veteran WRs, and a better coach to boot. Am I missing something?

I'm no Tommy Tubberville supporter BUT , its a little early in Matt Campbell's career to be calling him a better coach than Tubberville.

You can only practice so much. This is Cincinnati's opener, while Toledo has played twice already. Yes, Toledo will miss Ely. But Kareem Hunt is an underrated running back at this level, and QB Woodside saw some action last year. I have a hard time justifying Cincinnati being a double-digit favorite when they haven't touched the field yet this season.

Well, the Rockets have a gr8, experienced offensive line; so that is a real positive; and did play Mizzou; an SEC team; so it's ez to take the 10 pts; but Cincinnati considers it self a much higher program; should be almost a grudge g; and important for recruiting in the Buckeye state. gl..PS,

Toledo Rockets +10..moderate bet..gl

This.

All I read is QB out, DBs out, etc.....and the line has gone from -11 to -9.5.

Same with Baylor, public all over Bears but line dropped 2 pts.

Please stop using the word "public" it's a complete misnomer.

We're talking about volume of bets. That's what public means, its not a misnomer.

Yep. Were you on them last week too, when they only got 3.5 points vs. an SEC team, had RLM, and were healthy?

They lost that game by 25 points. Maybe Toledo is the overrated team here.

Didn't play them.

Nothing is 100%. I can point out lots of games with stats for one side, and the other side wins. So whats your point??

Its information, do with it what you want.

Another observation: with the horrendous Miami, OH on deck Cincy should be solely focused on this Toledo team. I'm sure they are anxious to play too with having to sit and watch the first two weeks.

It is quite the gamble to lay 10 in an opener, in a situation where the QB might not be totally comfortable yet.

Agree with all of this.

For those of you that think Toledo will cover @ +10, then you should definitely be all over Missouri to cover -10.5 @ home. Why not wait until halftime to see what you think of Cincinnati ? The value will be with Cincinnati if Toledo goes into the Half with a lead.

LINK to ESPN and stats for Toledo's last game vs Missouri. I watched the entire game last week and I can tell you this, if Cincinnati's defense comes to play, Toledo will be in for a long day.

What's going on with these Toledo games? Last week looked fishy as hell, took the bait and ended up a total beatdown. For some reason I always seem to go against Mizzou.

Had Mizzou/Over parlay last week and Im playing Cincy-9.5 (-120) tis'eve, leaning towards another small play on the Under as Ely is out and Cincy is just playing its first game of the season. BOL Bud
