of course that error by Joyce didn't help. probably been 1st and 3rd with 0 outs. Might have changed the whole game. It was 99% going to be tied after the error. No way does Jones get K's. Still steaming over it. Joyce couldn't get the bunt down either in the bottom half. And Cabrera was pinch ran for - that didn't help in the 11th when Rayburn (sucks) had to hit.
That doesn't tell the story about him. Every time this guy comes in you get worried if you have money on them. He had a lot of saves the past two seasons as well if I remember correctly and he was terrible then too. He will usually come in with a 2 or 3 run lead and when he leaves it will be a 1 run game with runners stranded in scoring position, but he still picks up the save. So yes he gets the save most of the times, but he is far from effective and should not be closing games.
