thanks a bunch, been a long time since mitch williams gave up that homer to carter.......ive been rooting for these guys since iw as little kid (born 1976)......barely remember the 1980 team that won the WS...but i sure remember the 1983 team thatw as blown out by the orioles, and the 1993 teamw as my favorite led by kruk, dykstra and shilling.....i think phils will be small dog in series due to the american league home field advantage and simply the stigma that AL is better.....
Phils should be excited to get 4 at bats per game for dobbs in the Al park, maybe even stairs...manuel coaches in Nl, but he coaches like hes still in the Al, nobody bunts for them but victorino, and I suspect phils will play great american league baseball.

if AL goes 7 games, its gonna suck, our price on the series will be even money when we woulda been dog as road team, ....
the overworking of bullpens, and the fact their starters wont be lined up right will negate the Al being favored based on of public perception of AL superiority, and the fact the rays woulda knocked off defending champs, or we would be facing defending champs.....
