Cutler still sucks. He's just getting all the time in the world.

Let's see how he does when he gets pressured. He will faster happy feet than Eli Manning.

Honestly your a moron if you think that. Anyone who watched Cutler at all last year, saw that this Kid is going to be the next Big Quarterback in the league.

Your nuts if you think cutler stinks. He has a rocket arm, great on the run and extremly accurate. He has zero recievers right now hes making eddie royal look like a pro bowler. Also torching a solid secondary.

Cutler has a great arm.. what I am surprised is that Jamarcus looks pretty good. He just has no time and godawful receivers.

His receivers are wide open. Most QB's could hit these guys. The Raiders pass defense sucks and is making him look good.

He's underthrowing the long passes but since the receivers are wide open they are in position to catch it.

I agree with you that he has a great arm. But we've seen him overthrowing and underthrowing as well.

give VY a receiving corps like this before you write him off.

leinart is a product of a system (USC) and can't beat out Kurt Warner so yea he sucks.

Cutler is going to have a big season, especially once Marshall returns.. third year is always the biggest year for players coming up. No doubt I would take Cutler over Leinart and VY if building an offense. It is awful that they havent gotten him one decent receiver in Tenn, but still.. he makes some bad bad throws and always gets hurt.

This thread is total absolute rubbish!

The only two QBs worth comparing in this topic are VY and Cutler. (I am a VY basher for the record you will find several posts of mine bashing him)

But it is ridiculous to compare the two of them when you look at their records. VY is an unofficial 18-11 in games he has played and Cutler is 10-12.

VY plays in a much tougher division than cutler, a division that features super bowl winners colts, and perennial hard hitting play off team in the Jaguars.

Meanwhile Cutler gets two of the worst teams in the league, the Kansas city chiefs and Raiders to beat on twice a year and he still cant even get those wins in the bag.

Cutler has a much better recieving corp or recievers while not even a soul can name the number two WR on the titans (without cheating and looking it up on the net) The number one guy, Justin Mccariens couldnt even cut it as a fourth stringer on the god awful jets.

Cutler has not come close to making it to the post season, VY came short of doing so in his first year as Qb (only fell one game short) but took his team to the play offs in his second year at QB. (There are precious few QBs that have managed this in the history of the league)

In the division cutler plays in, with the weapons he has had around him, the coaches, etc, if he was so much better than VY he should have a better record than him, he should have more accomplishments than VY.

This is not college football where people get to vote on who is the best, THIS IS THE NFL. WE LOOK AT YOUR RECORDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND JUDGE YOU BY THAT ALONE! JAY CUTLER IS WAY BEHIND VINCE YOUNG SO SAVE US THIS BULLSHIT COMPARISON BECAUSE IT IS JUST STUPID

It's hard to win games when your Defense ranks 30th in the NFL at stopping the run and gives up 25.6 points a game.

Tennessee defense support was amazing compare to the Broncos. The Titans D gave up only 18.6 pts a game (against an elite division as you say), and in the top 5 in total defense.

So if you're going to say Cutler had the advantage of a 'weak' division and better wideouts, you might as well include what vince young has been blessed with..... a defense

I think the majority of QBs would prefer to sacrifice some talent at wideout for a defense that ranked in the NFL top 5 (all while playing in AFC South)

Jay Cutler finishes the year as a top 5 QB EASY. Said it before the season and I'll say it again now. I don't give a shit about Vince Young's record, he is one of the bottom 5 QB's in the league and really shouldn't be starting for anybody. Leinart is a better QB than Young by a long shot.

Don't get swept up with one game though. Cutler is an amazing QB that I actually think will eventually win an MVP, but it was only one game and he will be up and down this year.

your logic is completely twisted so much so that i could simply switch your terminologies and apply them to the titans lack of offense and the broncos wealth of offensive weapons.

You cant make arguments when the exact same thing can be said about the other side.

Being that we both have valid points, one has to conclude that VY's advantage on defense is washed out by his great disadvantage on offense, (though one can argue that even with the great defense they have they are still in a better tougher division than Cutler)

Cutlers advantage is kinda washed out by his teams defense, (though one can argue that cutlers teams defensive woes should be quelled by the low level of competition in his division.

We have nothing to go by but accomplishments, and right now the suicidal vince young has a better record and accomplishments than Cutler

VY overthrows his WRs and his WRs cant catch for sh*t. It's a match made in heaven. VY is a better QB when he's mobile, but I think his OC's, injuries, and defenses are keeping him from running as much.

As a team leader, VY wins. As a pure passing QB, Cutler wins.

At this point, team leader outranks passer. When Cutler came to Denver, Denver was a winning team. They were headed to the playoffs when Plummer was dumped and Cutler brought in. They missed the playoffs that year.

OTOH, Tenny looked like complete crap under Kerry Collins, starting off 0-5. VY starts and they make a huge run and miss the playoffs by one game.

in the 2nd year, Tenny goes to the playoffs, Denver doesnt.

VY isnt the entire reason why Tenny is doing better. Dont get it twisted. But he certainly is an important piece to their winning.

Cutler hasnt had a winning season since...what...middle school?
Denver has better WRs, better OL and better HFA. Tenny has better dee and running game.

Get Denver to the playoffs and we can consider anointing Cutler as the better QB.

if you watched the game on Sunday, Tennessee won this game only becase of their Defensive play....Garrard was smothered all afternoon and not becuase of a well managed game by Young.

Titans defense: 7 sacks, 2 interceptions

So if we are making an assessment of who has, up to this point, achieved more in the NFL... Sure, I could give you Vince Young since his record is better.

However, if faced with the decision, I believe 90% of NFL head coaches would select Jay Cutler over Vince Young as their starter

(disagree?)
