They jump ship to whatever NFL team in the region is winning at that time. So it doesn't surprise me to hear you ripping the Eagles now.

There were a lot of Tampa Bay fans in MD last year too. But you get double dumb points for being a Cowboys fan in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast. It's too early for you to really pick a team this year. Buffalo looks pretty good...you could claim you're a Bills fan now.

I remember being at the Vet freezing my ass off with my Dad and my brother watching Montgomery run for what was at the time the LONGEST run from scrimmage in NFL history. The team he did it against? The NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS. I also remember the 1980 NFC Championship game. Eagles beat...let's see...who did they beat again? Dallas? Oh yeah that's right...the one time the two teams met in a championship game.

I have nothing against someone ripping the Eagles for how they play. They stunk up the Linc 2 weeks in a row. But don't go calling out our fans. That's just ignorant and stupid. I usually don't get into these word battles but I have to defend my city.

Newport thought we were done? There is no such thing as ignorance at the Vet. More like intimidating since most opposing fans were afraid to park their cars much less sit in the stands. Eagles fans have no respect for some moron coming into OUR building in OUR city and cheering for the opposing team. So either heed the warning or expect the worst. That's always been the way and that'll always be the way.

It's the same way for our fans at Giants Stadium (when the Giants are there, not the Jets. The Jets are like the red-headed stepchild team of the region). You're right about the rest of the NFC East being happy we're 0-2. Too bad for them none of these losses are inter-divisional.

I think a friend of mine (a Giants fan) sums it up best when he says his favorite dream is the Eagles charter jet crashes into the Cowboys charter jet in midair and the wreckage lands on the Redskins practice facility while they're inside practicing. No survivors.

Now that should tell you something about NFC East football.
