I said most people who BUY coffee do not sit down. They leave and go on with their day. Those are the customers.
Then you have a ton of people coming in....sitting down just to study, use their wi fi....and do not buy a single thing. To even think that everyone sitting down has bought something is fucking comical.
Not once I have gone into a Starbucks (only do cause my wife drinks it not me) and have people sitting there that haven't bought anything.
Not a single time. But, I don't live in the hood, so maybe in those places its common practice, hence why the store had to make rules against it.

I know this because I did it myself. I got tutored at a Wegmans and a barnes and noble while I was in school. And I nor did the tutor ever buy anything. That's 100% fact. And no one asked us two white people to leave or said we had to buy anything. So there you go.....you know 1 person now
