This forum is a great idea,but as everything in life an idea is only as good as the people that are involved with it.I understand people being passionate about their beliefs and can respect that.However when it simply degenerates into flaming,it is of no use.When someone cannot listen to an alternative opinion and weigh the fact that it might indeed have merit,dialogue ceases and all there is,is a shouting match.Nothing is ever changed or learned in a shouting match.For those of you who feel you have all the answers and there is nothing more to be learned,I pity you.This applies to posters on both sides of the fence.Okay now you may proceed in telling me I am full of shit.Thank you for the use of the hall.

I thought that was the nature of Politics, it reflects human nature.
The extremists, the moderates, the lone wolf, the pack runner, the ya-boo poster, the huge thread poster with zillions of words and gawd knows how many others.
And everyones right, and everyones wrong, and it never ends...
Threads are bound to get polarised during a conflict, war does that to most people.
I do think that a politics section happened just in time IMO.
I think Offshore would have become a serious fragging zone if this war stuff had stayed in there.
Personally, I think its great.
