Cant believe Boston total pushed. 7 runs thru 4.5 innings. Boston left based load no outs didn’t score, 16 total hits, etc.

2* BOSTON -1.5 (-176)
Bullpen day for BALT. Meisinger will get the start and although he doesn’t last long usually he’s got an atrocious 7.00 ERA in 9 road appearances. BALT has lost 12 games this month by 2+ runs. Think the trend will continue today as Price has been on fire lately (2.32 ERA L7). Price has a 2.85 ERA on the season at home and 2.66 ERA in day games (both significantly better than road/night games). Lastly, in 10 post-ASB starts he’s got a flat 2.00 ERA. This is certainly a square play but I can’t see any other outcome than BOSTON spanking the O’s this afternoon.

I use various tools in capping and one thing that strikes me odd in this game is the line movement. Public appears to be on Houston (59% Covers, 62% SportsPlays, 56% OddsShark, etc.). Usually this doesn’t play too much into my analysis but the line moves from -137 to -102 in a matter of 4 hours. This tells me that LV “needs” Blue Jays due to how much money was pumped into Houston. That alone won’t make me pick a play. However, I love this Reid Foley kid. He has electric stuff (15Ks over his last 9 IP @NYY and vs. TAMPA). This isn’t a fluke, he’s got 150Ks in MINORS this year over 129 IP. On the other side we have Chris Devenski in a bullpen game. He has not been himself this year with an ERA 1.44 higher than last year and 2.00 higher than 2016. He won’t last long but maybe Blue Jays get to him early. Houston is also running their JV lineup tonight since they clinched division with Oakland lost. I expect them to show up but not do much after celebrating last night. Yes they stayed up past 2am and then posting celebration videos all over social media and now have a day game.
