Bellator isn't as good as Strikeforce was at it's peak. UFC is just too dominant in market share right now. They do have some of the best fighters in the world though with guys like Ben Henderson and Rory MacDonald so they are getting better. Have viacom behind them which helps.
The production value of their TV cards is pretty bad though. Very 2nd rate. They have that huge jumbotron for the entrances and it makes it feel like watching WWE. Then you have the commentator guy, I don't know who he is but you immediately think he is a 2nd rate knockoff Joe Rogan with the collared shirt/shaved head look. It just always feels minor leagues.
Funniest Bellator moment I ever saw was when they brought in Bonnar to fight Tito. And he is in the cage saying that Tito is a scumbag and he screws over his friends, and he has some ex Tito associate there with a mask on! Then the ex-associate pulls off the mask to no reaction at all since nobody knows who the fuck he is. Tito then calls him a drug-addict and lunges at him.
