Off the top of my head:

  • No congressman can be a lobbyist, ever.
  • Term limits, maybe 12 total years total
  • Spouse/siblings of congressmen cannot have business relationships with foreign countries unless they are in place before elected, and then they need to be monitored for new business
  • Spouse/siblings cannot work for law firms with any significant relationship with the government
  • Congressmen cannot purchase new stocks, bonds, precious metals, nor real estate (other than their own homes)
  • Congressmen with law degrees need to be restricted in some ways for employment after their terms
  • Congressmen need to be restricted as it relates to large donations... full disclosure, NO money from foreign entities, EVER

These are the foundation of what needs to be done, this and other new regulations need to be appropriately structured with some fairness of course for Senators and House Reps to be able to earn a living, but without blatant corruption as it now exists.

is out of office but your plan would probably work.

Congress continues to do it's best to block Trump on immigration. So what does he do?
He bypasses them and manages to get Mexico involved.

When he called himself “an extremely stable genius” people laughed.
Who's laughing now?

He's just a businessman with know-how. Something career politicians and liberals simply can't comprehend. A little common sense goes a long ways

I simply responded with "superficial" because I'm tired of explaining a process. They're not interested in the truth anyways, just the ten second sound bite material

I actually think barbanman is pretty smart, but it looks as if TDS as consumed him

I would write a lot of reasons Tarriffs at this point and time are the BEST thing for the US right now with China... but, I feel I would be wasting my breath trying to explain it. So, Ill put it as simply as I can so Im not wasting much of either of our time.

We have our best chance, right now, to reign in China and its huge advantage over the US and OTHER US FRIENDLY TRADE PARTNERS. With our economy as strong as it is, we have to make a push back while its in our favor, while we are at our strongest. China has been able to walk over us for over 16 years, and increasing their exports, and decreasing our exports. Otherwise, it will continue to grow out of hand, and the balance of economic power will be owned by China, while they force us to rely on them even more.
Fucking eh, well put

Ya gotta love the guy...

[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]President Trump on Sunday claimed that "a National Holiday would be immediately declared"
if former President Barack Obama made the deals on immigration and the economy that he has.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., on Saturday hit parts of President Trump’s deal
with Mexico on stopping migrant flows after he threatened to slap tariffs on the country
saying that Trump was engaged in “threats and temper tantrums.”

anyone else enjoy watching Democrats fighting for the mic to tell us all how disgusted they were at Trump's tariffs on Mexico to now having complete disdain at a deal being negotiated without any tariffs?

Well, two things this administration has that the previous one didn't. A president with a spine, and a first lady with a vagina.

[h=1]Mexico’s Crackdown at Its Southern Border, Prompted by Trump, Scares Migrants From Crossing[/h]

“I’m thinking of not going over there anymore,” she said.
But the effect of the deployment has been felt most significantly among undocumented migrants, who now see a more impenetrable Mexico.
