James Worthy, Elvin Hayes, Kevin McHale, Bob McAdoo - anybody think these guys were better than Duncan? I believe Worthy and Mchale were better!

No way CC sorry but Duncan dominates the game in ways those guys didn't. Worthy and McHale played credible defense, but never at the level od defensive player of the year. Those guys didn't face the kind of double teaming Duncan does either. His passing is so underrated and its a skill he added the hard way. He wasn't that great at it during college but added the weapon as he became the consummate pro.

Maybe so, But I know one thing, the competition they both played against was much better as a whole. (Nothing against Detroit)!

Not only is he the best PF of all time by leaps and bounds he is the best player in the league for several years now - if you took a poll of every GM in the league and asked them who would be their first choice it would be TD by UNANIMOUS decision - do you want to win rings or put together highlight reals?

Do not get me wrong, I think that Tim is a great player. One of the top 5 in the league for sure. However, I think him winning titles has a bunch to do with the players that surrounded him during those two title runs. If you were to replace Tim with KG during those title runs, do you think the outcome would be any different. Better yet, if you were to place Tim in Minnesota this season, do you think the T-Wolves would have been any better? Tim is great, but he has always had the better team around him. He has always had the better defensive team surrounding him. He had David Robinson. As far as crunch time, Tim has not showed me a thing. Missed FT's, missed tip ins, not getting shots off, ect. KG has always been a great clutch player. He makes the jumpshots, free throws, and also has hit some big 3 point shots to tie games up or to win them. He is a clutch player. In my opinion, he is the better player. But that's just my opinion.:103631605

Duncan’s jumper with 1:29 left in the second quarter moved him past Gary Payton into 26th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 21,829

I'd definitely take Barkley and Malone over Duncan. Legends of the game. Duncan will not be brought up in the same sentence as them.

You're 100 % correct about that. Duncan is on an entirely different level ....... above Barkley and Malone and all other Power Forwards !
