My take..... Tiger knew Tom Watson was man enough (or, you could say, had the balls) to give him basically NO consideration. Tom was saying some of the right things just to be polite. No way in hell he would have took the guy.

But this way Tiger can take the high ground and look better than he would if he just got flushed!
