Tiger Woods expects to play in U.S. Open
Tiger Woods is using crutches and wearing a protective boot on his left leg, but expects he'll be "ready to go" for the U.S. Open next month at Congressional. Woods has been bothered by pain in his left knee and left Achilles' tendon. (May 24)

He's also setting himself up for further injury. This is what happens when you have multi-million dollar endorsement contracts, and the pressure to stay in the spotlight. He would be better off just calling it a season and getting healed up. But I doubt he will until after the PGA.
