I've always liked Tiger. He doesn't come off as cold to me in interviews as some people are saying. Every once in a while a reporter will put his foot in his mouth with another stupid question and Woods will come back with a snide remark. He came off a lot more personable to me in some of his earlier interviews when he was younger. But I think he's heard the same questions so many times now that he's just getting bored with the media.

Many of your most talented sports figures haven't been the most outgoing personalities. Barry Bonds comes to mind. But Tiger is clearly the best golfer to ever play the game. I think he'll have Nickalaus majors record broken by the time he's 35. And he'll have at least 30 majors in the books before his career is done.

Personally I find Tiger much more genuine than Phil. That phony-ass smile Phil has around the whole course makes me want to vomit.

i agree the media is just waiting for him to screw up so they can try make him look bad, but they cant the guy is a class act. he is the best golfer since Jack probably. he will probably go down as one of the top 5 to ever play the game.

tiger-jordan-jack n.-montana etc.... are rare atheletes they only come every so often. all sports would be flawless if everyone carried and presented themselves like these guys and I know there are many many more those just come to mind. JMO

Tiger has more class than Phil will ever have...Tiger has never stiffed a bookmaker...

I have heard apocryphal accounts of Phil allegedly stiffing an online bookmaker for years, but I have never heard a detailed authenticated account. Do you have one to share with us? TIA

<meta content="2016-03-06" itemprop="dateCreated">by Terence Owen on 06/03/2016

14-time grand slam victor Woods is now taking an indefinite break from golf after having surgery on his back, and after speaking bleakly in December past year about his chances of a return, the American was far more upbeat about his chances of appearing in a professional competition again.
Woods and his son, Charlie, are competing in three-hole chipping contests and last week released a video of himself practising his swing on a simulator.
Woods has not played in a tournament since August and has not won since August 2013.
Taylor Crozier, an 11-year-old student from Luehrs Junior High School, made a hole-in-one Wednesday afternoon in the inaugural round of The Playgrounds at Bluejack National golf course in Montgomery. It's not my knee, it's not where it's nine months and I'm coming back from a total ACL reconstruction, that's normal. The Playground is a 10-hole, family-oriented short course with par-3 holes ranging in length from 53-102 yards.
One of those kids, 11-year-old Taylor Crozier, was chosen to play a round with Woods.
"As I announced last week, I am starting to feel a lot better".
The former world No. 1 on Wednesday said he has been chipping and putting outside his Jupiter, Fla., home and recently began hitting 9-irons.
"We were on the phone for about 50 minutes, which is a long time", Day said. "I can't count how many times he said "effort" and 'mindset.' Everything had to do a lot with the mind". "Once I improve the mental game for myself, this is the last piece of the puzzle for me, I believe, and I think I'll be able to go out there and just kind of kill it", Day said. These are the things I couldn't do.
Woods, who underwent two back surgeries in an 18-month span and had another follow-up procedure last October, still has no idea when he will be able to return to the PGA Tour. Eventually it's getting to the elite level and playing out here with the guys and that's going to take some work.
