Once again another split last night 1-1 lost the side won the total.

I read in someone's thread that Denver was the right side last night; I was going to post a response but it wasn't my thread so I didn't! DENVER WAS NOT THE RIGHT SIDE LAST NIGHT! The right side was LA, it is not HOW, it is HOW MANY! It doesn't matter if the ref's decide the outcome or the coach F's up at the end the RIGHT side is the winning side, it might be easier to stomach but a loss is a loss and a win is a win.

As of right now 3:20pm I am leaning heavy on the points taking 7- and more than likely taking the over. Good Luck on whatever you play!:toast:

I disagree with this statement, and think it is the type of thinking that can get you into trouble. When we bet on sports we are playing an extremely high variance game. The point is to maximize equity in every situation, which will yield the highest long-term profits. Looking at the short-term (especially just one game) leads to tunnel vision.

If you were playing poker, and someone went allin and you called with Aces and lost, did you make a bad play?

Sorry to hijack, good luck with your bet!

Its definately OK to disagree and I do see your point and I have said to myself a hundred times if not more "I lost but I still think it was the right play" however being on the right side is winning the bet! I've been doing this a long, long time 35+ years and the only thing that has gotten me into trouble has been betting with my heart, I learned that a long time ago but still do slip every now and then. Gotta call in my game, perhaps we can discuss this at a RX gathering.

Gotcha. I've never been to an RX event, but hopefully soon... Enjoy the game tonight!
