Never going to hype plays anymore. Always bad karma for me. I've been playing, watching and studying baseball for a long time, and for that Marlin game not to go over yesterday is very rare and I'll bet that 9 more times out of 10. Marlins could have went over on their own, but they set a franchise record for double plays with 6 twin killings. To add insult to injury they did'nt even go over in 13 innings. LOL.

On to today, one early play. More plays posted later.

Royals/Tigers OV 9.5

Zach Grienke will be a star in the majors, but he may have some 1st start jitters at 21 years old. The Tigers Jason Johnson is very inconsistent, and the Royals should see him well.

Unbelievable this game goes over.
1-0 in the bottom of the 7th and a 2 run homer in the top of the 9th down 6 by KC.

Redman at Peavy

PITT @ SD UNDER 4.5 1st 5 innings -130

Redman is a streaky underrated lefty that, when on, can be very solid. Peavy is one of the best pitchers in the game already at just 23, and he'll get to start the 2005 season with his fans behind him. I think starters will keep each others hitters in check throughout the 1st half of the game, but I can't speak for their pens just yet.

With the bail out and combined 9 double plays that crushed my over last night, I'll take it. Got my money back. I really don't like betting much in the early going of the season as some flukey things happen and player's roles are being decided. I don't know what side you were on, but I hope you cashed.
