Another tough day Wednesday. Cards pushed, but now at 0-3 since returning to the RX. McCallister was predictable awful, but Scherzer has his worst start in about 2 years???? 7 runs? Or was it 9? Anyways, I still maintain it was a solid play.
Chicago WS -1/2 (-110)First 5. Two units. The Yankees are perhaps in fade mode, as is Boston. Sale is back from the DL, but was dominant in his rehab start, and i figure he's got 4-5 good innings in him. Phelps is on borrowed time. Always mentioned in trades because of lack of command, control issues, etc. I still also think that teams get up for playing the hated Yankees. It's still an event for fans too.
Colorado/ SF. Over 9.5. One unit. What are the odds that we'll see 3 unders in a Coors series? Not good and I'll wager it doesn't happen more than once a year. Both teams can hit and neither pitcher is lights out. Hudson has been great but he will regress to his mean eventually.
Mets ML (+137). One unit. Greineke due for a rough outing. The Dodgers will happy to get this series over and leave town. Besides, the Mets lately, are hitting as well as anyone, and Niese has been very solid all year. All quality starts except for his last one.
