3.5*Toledo +1.5 over Miami Ohio
Regardless of the outcome here, both teams will have bowl bids. With that being said, it is extremely difficult to beat a team twice in the same season when the two teams are this evenly matched. Toledo is playing with revenge for a 16-23 loss at Miami Ohio on November 2nd which was their last loss and only MAC loss this season. I also think Toledo has the advantage of being the underdog in this match-up, having beat Bowling Green (8-3) last week (previous Tuesday) while Miami Ohio has had 2 weeks off and is favored on a neutral field. Our computer line and year to date power ratings both call for Toledo to win this game straight-up. The numbers and intangible factors all support Toledo as an underdog on a neutral field in the 2nd meeting between the two in the last month. With both being assured of a bowl bid, it should be a question of who wants it more. My money is on Toledo tonight playing with revenge as an underdog for their last loss, only MAC loss and on a neutral field.
