Record: 112-116 (49.12%) -10.7 units

(My scale is 1-5 units, 4 and 5 units being VERY rare, 1-2 units being what most of my plays are, 3 unit plays being very solid but not great)

Georgetown -5 (3 Units)

Georgetown is flat out just better then West Virginia for one main reason, their offense. Their top 4 scorers (Summers, Freeman, Monroe, Wright) all shoot 50% or better from the field, 35% or better from 3 point land, and 72% or better from the FT line. You wont find a better shooting top 4 anywhere in the country. Trust me. On top of all that, Georgetown is the more athletic team. Of the best 5 athletes on the floor tonight only 1 (Desean Butler) will be wearing a West Virginia uniform. West Virginia backers will point out the edge on paper they have on the boards, however when these two teams met in March last year the Hoyas owned the glass to the tune of 36-19. This will likely be my biggest play of the day, and might even make it a 4 unit play later in the day.

Minnesota +1 (1 Unit)

Good spot here for Minnesota. They have played 3 of their last 4 on the road and return home tonight to face the Boilers. This team had 2 impressive road wins (Iowa and Wisconsin) recently before coming back to earth a bit with a Saturday defeat at Northwestern. A big edge here for the Gophers will be swing man Damian Johnson who is one of the top defensive players in the Big 10. He will be a nightmare for Purdue's offense. I expect him to be all over the place tonight, guarding mainly Hummel among others. If he can take Hummel out of his game (which I expect he will) then Purdue's offense will surely struggle.

Seton Hall +2 (2 Units)

Really like Seton Hall here. They are 0-5 in Big East play and tonight host the surprising Providence Friars. Before the season while looking at their Big East schedule there weren't many games Seton Hall could circle as pretty confident victories. Tonight's game however was one of them. Providence has over-achieved to a 4-2 big east start and tonight will be brought back to earth a bit with a reality check. Seton Hall has been playing a bit better of late with competitive showings against Notre Dame and Villanova. Providence is no where near the level of the team those two are. I could go a little deeper into this one, but won't. Seton Hall is the play

St. Louis +11.5 (1 Unit)

Not much analysis here, St. Louis is a fairly solid team, they are 11-6, won 8 of their last 10, and are getting double figure points. I'll take it.

San Diego +4 (2 Units)

Good spot here for San Diego. These teams are both 4-0 in the WCC and tonight battle it out for 1st place. San Diego is a team I'm very familiar with living down here in SD. They hit a bit of a rough patch earlier this year when senior PG and team leader Brandon Johnson was lost for the year with an achilles injury. However they have since rebounded and are playing very good basketball now. Keep in mind this is a San Diego team that returns virtually everyone from the team that upset U Conn in the big dance last year.

Boise State -1 (3 Units)

Loving Boise here, and think they win pretty easily tonight. They are a solid, well coached team that runs their sets well and is usually pretty efficient, especially at home. They love to shoot the 3 ball, and their top 4 three ball shooters do it well. (about 40% from 3 between them) On the other side is New Mexico State who early in the season I loved and backed often. Lately however i've been fading them hard and it continues tonight. Plenty of talent and athleticism on this team, but they are very similar to UTEP. Basically just running around playing street ball. I feel that on the road against a disciplined team like Boise doesn't provide a good matchup at all for the Aggies.

added:

2nd Half: Providence/Seton Hall (Over 84) 2 Units

street ball like 1st half, both teams going up and down, no defense, and very little of the shot clock being used.
