USD giving folks 20 without Johnson and Johnson is rediculous, an afternoon bus ride down the coast for the Waves.

Harden will check the freshman Derozian, Pendergraph should get Taj in foul trouble. USC is not special offenively like Cal is. Also they know they need this one to split with UCLA on deck.

I don't know how you can take LMU, definitely agree with Pepperdine, San Diego won't score that many points here and Pepperdine just will get better and better and better. Hard to see you take ASU here, USC-bias aside they struggle against more athletic teams routinely and they got stomped at Galen last year

Actually a railbird is a scumbag that stands "by the rail" in a poker tourney and will try to solicit funds from the winners.

Railbird, I am not in any way dissing you,just explaining the term to said young gent.

By the by,looks like you and I are alone on our Zona St. pick as most of the forum are on USC.

learn something new everyday...cuz i've been hangin at the eigth pole @belmont park since i could walk...better yet, crawl...and we are all known as railbirds....

It was posting handle I decided to use when I signed up at Bettorsworld back in 1998. Was originally a horse term, there were horse railbirds before poker railbirds. I got the term from my buddy Henry Bee, Henry Bee was a ticket scalper-horse bettor. He flew to Kentucky Derby one year for the main purpose of betting Strike the Gold to win and to sale a few tickets. He was on his way to place a bundle most of his case 3 dimes on STG when he sold a pair of clubhouse tickets to an undercover police officer. He ended up doing 6 hours in a holding cell and wasnt able to place the bet on STG who I think went off at like a 7-1 shot and won pretty easy.
