Thursday Night ratings would be up if they brought back the Brad Nessler/Mike Mayock announce team.... one of the most underrated announce teams ever. Nessler a timeless wonder and who could possibly dislike Mayock and his enthusiasm?

But no, CBS would rather have Phil Simms saying "outtsiiiiideee" "innsiiidee, Jeeem" or "TALKKDD ABBOUT" every two minutes

Thursday night games don't suck, it is just bad for the players....injuries are a major concern....not enough rest from a Sunday to Thursday game....

^^ This I can understand... when it comes to the well being of the players. But I will never understand fans who complain about a football game being on a Thursday night.

Still blows my mind why anyone cares. If you don't like it, don't watch.

For those who like watching football it means fewer good games each year.

Solution is easy: two on opening day, go a couple weeks without any, then only teams coming off a bye can play Thursday, except Thanksgiving. Once college season ends can play one game on Saturday instead

Fewer good games? If Tenn/Jax was on at 1pm Sunday would you tune in? It would simply be in the mix of 7-8 other games and no one would watch.
