GL today Buddy!! Here's one reason I stayed off that game today.
Tigers: Rogers gets the call to begin the second half. He finished the first half earning a no-decision against the Twins after allowing three runs on nine hits in seven innings. Since June 2, Rogers has been one of Detroit's most consistent starters, allowing an average of 2.3 earned runs in 10 starts. He beings the second half facing Baltimore, a team against which Rogers has a 10-9 record and 4.67 ERA in 28 starts.
Orioles: Olson went 3-0 with a 4.28 ERA at home and 3-4 with a 6.81 mark on the road before the All-Star break, but he pitched to a 12.81 ERA in his first two July outings. Baltimore has watched Olson carefully and the southpaw has been knocked out before end of the sixth inning in 10 of his first 14 starts. Olson went 1-3 with a 7.79 ERA last season.
