Thursday night's showdown between the Missouri Tigers and the Mississippi State Bulldogs is going to be a sloppy mess.
Tailgating in Columbia is going to be very muddy during the day. Periods of heavy downpours and thunderstorms are likely during the afternoon when fans are out and about tailgating. Rain will lighten up as the day goes on.
It will be raining throughout the Dawg Walk with strong winds coming out of the south at 10-12 mph. The Bulldogs will be arriving at the southeast corner of Faurot Field at approximately 6 PM.
Make sure to have your maroon and white umbrellas and ponchos handy as you enter the stadium. Columbia will have overcast skies with a few periods of heavy rain especially in the first half. Expect the University of Missouri campus to receive about a quarter of an inch throughout the day.
Winds will be blowing from the south and that could affect the passing and kicking games of both teams.
It will be a messy contest for the Dawgs but hopefully the Maroon and White will put the weather behind them and wrap it up!
