Cubs absolutely blow, and there is ZERO value in a disinterested team with no offense and Lee out. FYI for game 2 - Smoltz owns the Cubs. Dusty has the large sweatbands on, maybe he should take the field in game 2.

Cubs under 3 runs in game 2. I cannot see them getting 4 off Smoltz.

CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN TO ME WTF CARLOS BAERGA IS DOING HITTING CLEANUP FOR THE NATS? I mean, this guy couldn't hit his way out of a paper bag. He does not hit for average OR power. The Nats killed some prime RBI opps buy putting this guy in the 4th hole. And yes, I am heavy on the Nats, I just didn't think Frank Robinson was this inept.

Yesterday he had Wil Cordero batting cleanup, with his .130 average.

What a MORON. Mike Scoccia should have clocked him a clean one, that might have put his circutry back in order.

Frank doesn't have a lot of choices if he doesn't have Guilen in game as Nick Johnson(who was doing well) is on dl until after all-star break.
I'm on Nats also. Will have to out-last them.

He should have Vinny Castilla, the closest thing he has left to a clean up hitter, batting 4th.

OK, bottom 9 coming up. We have to end this NOW. No way they can continue to hang against Mets superior hitting lineup.

Haven't seen so much first pitch swinging by Nats all year. They are reading their press clippings. I will stay away from them for a while.
