I only like 1 game for Thursday after going over the card.
Record 1-0 (+1.1 units)
Pick = Texas -110
Reason = Texas comes off a 4-game embarassing sweep by the Orioles and will be motivated. The All-Star break gives them time to clear their heads. Elvis and Kinsler and others can steal off Wakefield once on base since he is the easiest guy to steal on. The Red Sox are also banged up and I don't think they can keep relying on younger inexperienced players especially against the Rangers. Hunter has been great and even though he hasn't pitched much on the road, he pitches in a launching pad at home so Boston won't intimidate him with its hitters park. Vladimir Guerrero has abused Wakefield in the past also which is no surprise since he is probably one of the best hitters out of the strike zone and can hit off-the-wall pitches at will. The line is low due to the Red Sox record at home and because they are the Red Sox at home (perception creating line value). I couldn't find much on the card so I'm letting it rip with the Rangers. TAKE TEXAS -110. Best of luck.
