2 plays tonight:
VT/Mia are the #13 and #10 defenses in Div 1 this year. Mia is 17th against the run allowing 109 RYPG yet VT will do all that it can to turn this into smash mouth football my gut says we will see another 30+ rushing attempts by Evans and another 10 to 15 rushes from the Wild Turkey package. Lots of running .
For Miami RT tackle Fox is out for tonight with a high ankle sprain. This could be a big problem for Mia as VT will bring all sorts of different sets for a backup lineman to adjust to. With that said both of Miamis QB's are TO prone which is not a good sign.
The only thing that keeps me from making this a straight play is the fact that the game is in Miami.
My play goes against an unwritten rule that you never tease a college game, But there are exceptions to all rules and for me tonight it is. I am going to move VT across the +10pt threshold and take the under 48.
VT+10.5 & Under 48.
Game 2
UNLV has some offensive production this year even though their SU record is not great but they can score and they have played some good teams to tight games. Wyoming is a very poor offensive team and they are on the road. Last week they Beat Tenn without an offensive score and I think we are getting value because of this...hard to keep winning that way so I'm taking:
UNLV -6.
