Whap's up with this?

I've been watching this phenomona for a long time. Why is it that even when the really good cappers are all on a team, it loses? Today for example, Choptalk, Tomorrow's Newspaper, Crush, and Zeke were all on Minnesota and they lose big time, not even close. This has happened over and over the past month. I just can't muster up the courage to fade them. I keep thinking all these sharp cappers can't be wrong, but they have been!!!

I have noticed this too, and it goes without saying that if everyone sees a huge edge, it's probably too good to be true.

It's not about picking winners. Any side is the right side at the right price. If Liriano pitches 80% of how he did in 2006 today, it would have been a much different game.

Cappers are still probably projecting him at near 2006 potential, thus +118 for one of the best pitchers in MLB is great. He still needs a lot of work to get back to that point though.

I guess not as much as you. Are you referring to his statements that "There are no good cappers on the forum?'" I didn't agree with everything Pops said.

I likes pops o/u thread too and his observations but I know he checked the cappers on the forum out,he just didn't say it. he didn't post all his wagers or even alot of the if I remeber it correctly over the years.he was just collecting info and letting people make their own decisions

one game is one game, the point is to come out in the end on top,
in the plus on units.

t.n. is going to come out on top this year and you just need to use good money management and not worry about one game and how many cappers are on it .I haven't seen tn wager more than 3 units on a game yet if I am not mistaken

cheers

Just got back. Some good points in this thread. I am all about sharing ideas. I will tell you this. I too look at 7 or 8 cappers threads. Some I respect very much, some, well, lets just say I dont like to have the same side of. Very seldom will you find me on a play that the majority are on. A big part of my handicapping has to do with value, and if everyone likes one side, there is usually no value there.

As for Minnesota - I usually give a stud pitcher 1 or 2 outings to get there feet under them. Usually the 3rd start they are at full strength. Liriano was brought back too soon and it is showing. If he will return to form is yet to be seen. He was as good as anyone before injury. I gambled that he was back and even if just 80% he should be much better than Smith. I was wrong. I wish I had seen him pitch this year so I could see what is wrong. Control seems to be an issue as well as arm strength. I learned my lesson. BUT, not to the point where I will fade him yet. I will avoid for a couple of more starts.

2-2 +1.60 for the day card. I'll take it every day of the year.
