I like RECONVENCIONADO here. Well above average win rate at this distance/surface. Looks like a formidable contender for the exotics. Must be given consideration based on the strong speed rating earned in the last race. LAMAS FESTIVAL - He has been running strongly and the speed figures are among the strongest in this field. With one of the best jockeys in terms of dividends at the window, don't count this gelding out. SKYLIGHT CITIZEN - Gamblers should take a good look at this one as this horse has one of the best win percentages at this distance in this group of animals. Will probably compete strongly in the early pace contest which bodes well with this group.

Has been racing admirably and has among the most competitive speed in the race for today's distance. Gorder has a reliable 17 percent win rate with entries running at this distance and surface. AMAZING KITTEN - He has been running soundly and the speed figures are among the best in this group. STORMY EXCHANGE - Must be carefully examined - I like the numbers from the last contest. The average class rating of 67 makes this horse hard to beat.

ANYTIME MAGIC - That 74 fig this gelding notched in his last affair tells me he's a main player this time around. Is ranked at the top in earnings per race. A solid effort in this event can increase the lifetime earnings. PARTY AT MY PLACE - Racing over a familiar track, where he has won multiple times before, I have to put this one at the top of my list of top contenders. This gelding is in exceptional physical condition right now. Finished first last time around the track and comes back soon. Wells is sharp with any horse racing 1st time after a claim. The trainer is very good with those types. FIRE IN EXCESS - Very often a thoroughbred who worked from the gate since his last race, and adds the 'hood' for today's race, shows a big improvement in performance. I wouldn't worry too much about the vacation; this gelding is ready to run today. The most recent rating of 74 is the highest last race speed figure in the group.

TOSS THE DICE - This horse just hasn't looked sharp recently. This gelding hasn't had any recent success in sprint events. Not easy to play him in this event. STORMIN ALONG - Hard to support any animal with dropping Equibase speed figs of 77/72/69. NO TEAM SPIRIT - Finished third in his most recent race with a common speed rating. When I look at today's class rating, it would take an improved performance to win after that in this group.

HEAT BOX - You always have to be on the patrol for money generating jock/conditioner tandems; we have an instance right here. This one already beat the chalk horse last time out at Arlington. I believe the addition of the 'hood' today will help this filly focus her attention on racing. BABY FACE NELSON - Was a beaten favorite in her last start. Ran well considering the speed rating notched was good enough to make her one of the contenders in today's race. A campaigner coming back this soon after a nice race is a good sign. You have to like that last race fig, 64, which is the top most recent race speed rating of this field. This equine wins a lot of dough per race. Utmost in this clash.

Vulnerable Contenders: #10 CHAMPAGNEFORPEACE (ML=4/1), #6 FIELD HOUSE (ML=6/1), #9 LIL HEAT (ML=6/1),

CHAMPAGNEFORPEACE - Just don't figure that she is worth it at the given odds. FIELD HOUSE - The lack of morning activity has to make one concerned despite the good effort in the last race. Will be tough for this horse to beat this field off of that last speed rating. Improbable to improve enough to run a figure close enough to today's Equibase class figure, so put her on the possibly overvalued equines list. LIL HEAT - Hard to bet on at 6/1 odds after the two most recent efforts.

Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: Hal - HEAT BOX - Steady improvement in her speed ratings, 64 last race and 17 two races back. This horse is going to be tough against these horses.

Scattered thunderstorms at Coors Field Thursday

If you're betting on baseball today, the weather could play a major factor at a few stadiums.

The San Francisco Giants are visiting the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field, but poor weather appears to be on its way to The Mile High City. The forecast is calling for a 40 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms with winds reaching eight mph.

Scheduled starters for the game are Tim Hudson (4-2, 2.09 ERA) for the Giants and Jorge De La Rosa (5-3, 4.14 ERA) for the Rox. Colorado is currently a -118 fave.

I think you missed the point/question.
I am having a multitude of different problems with my computer connecting to some sites and a host of other things.
As this is one example of the problems, I simply wanted to know if anyone else was having the same problem with this particular website, which in essence would neab trying to connect o see if they could access the website.
The message I posed would SEEM to indicate that the site itself is down and all day for that matter(I have never encountered this problem before with this particular site), but I simply wanted to be sure that the problem was with the site and not my computer.
In short, if you have time, time in the website address and tell me what happens.
