Wednesday: 2-5 (-31.9*)
CBB YTD: 108-104 (-59.7*)
10* plays: 12-14
NBA Wednesday: no plays
NBA YTD: 9-8

OK, guys, this is starting to border on the absurd. While I have won more games than I have lost, it means nothing in the units column. I feel ridiculous continuing to post losers on a site with so many good cappers. I'm feeling that my posts aren't worth reading and wondering why the folks who still read them are bothering to do so. I don't feel as though I'm earning my keep around here.

And I refuse to become a good fade!

Anyway, without being melodramatic, I am going to give myself another week to turn this ship around. In fact, let's say 10 days, so that we can include the next two weekends. If by the end of Sunday, February 8, I am still far behind in units, I will retire from posting for this basketball season, and save my diminishing bankroll for next football season.

So, here's hoping I have a good 10 days.

Be back in a while with tonight's plays.

Keep the chin up Reb -- I have followed you here and elsewhere for a couple of years now, you are a good capper and while I don't always agree with every game you play, I certainly do look forward to reading your posts.

My impression is that you are an experienced capper and have seen how the college basketball season unfolds from a gambler's perspective many times before -- So you probably already know what I am about to say, but think it is important to say it anyway....

The last four or five weeks of the college regular season is a very, very tough battle against the man -- lines are very tight and teams that have been season long fades seem to bite back -- this is the time that the books make their money from the public.

That said, DISCIPLINE IS KEY to staying ahead of the game this time of year.

For what its worth, each team's relative strength and weaknesses have been pretty well flushed out -- It is my personal opinion (and it may not be worth much) that finding very good emotional match-ups is where winners are to be found -- OK, I'll get off my soapbox.

Best of luck to you and look forward to reading your posts.

Reb--I know you and I haven't seen eye to eye on some things in the past, but I really hope you come out of your slump. Best of luck to you.
